Do you have a watchmaker that you can recommend who can do the dial swap? I’m in NY but don’t mind shipping it if they do good work. Thanks.

According to the informations chazingtime gave me ARF doesn't want to sell parts currently, so will be impossible to get right now an ARF bezel. I'm trying to find an aftermarket bezel, but i can't find nothing better than the noob's one. Do you guys had found any good alternative?

I don’t really understand you, If you want it period correct, you need to do a lume job. 1-tick dials have superluminova lume and not chromalight. I rather take the 2-tick with chromalight. But anyhow, who will know.

The 1-tick dial in Puretime’s “V2” is CL, not Superluminova, per picture shown by Puretime. It’s not period correct, yes, but I speculate it’s a “compromise” decision on their part to address the correct-tick issue and yet have matching lume

Of course I am referring to Puretime’s ARF 116520 white dial “V2” posted Aug 24, 2018, and not any other “V2” posted before that, he he he. Angus and his Vxs

I don't know about other Noob owners, but my lume is super weak.

So all ARF needs to do to "cash in" on the Noob SA4130 is to sell their bezels at a few hundred a pop...

There are a reasonable number of gen 1-tick CL dials in the wild, so though it is somewhat more rare, I think it is still 'period correct'.

should do a dial and bezel combo sale package lol
But they'll have to make the dial with correct plate, otherwise dial feet will be in the wrong position...

Besides, the ARF dials still needs to be improved so personally I'll take a bezel.

Here is my Noob Franken again, the price is not a couple of 1000 gbp. I paid 800 euro for a new chromalight dial and 500 USD for the watch, so a total of 1250 euro. There are also lots of aftermarket ceramic bezels around for less then 100 USD, if you do not like the noob. I may get a gen hand set for 250 euro but still happy with this. This watch has 80 h powerreserve and gains 2 sec a week.

I know the dial is not 100% correct for the 116500 but many gen owners converted their 116520 to a ceramic version.

You did the clever thing which was jump on this and get the parts whilst they were not hugely overpriced. You can tell the old hands in the rep game ;)

I think, at the minute, you would most likely be paying between 1.5-2x that especially with the bezel as well it turns into a very expensive project

I’ve seen parts rise already that’s why I’ve jumped on them now too. My noob v2 is currently with Domi being serviced and fitted with gen black luminova dial and hands plus gen crystal and gen steel bezel. Can’t wait!!

Of course, i'll open a thread with before/after pics. I think ARF stopped selling parts, probably i bought it just in time some day before; lucky me!
