I've conversed with @d09624008 and IMO have the whole bezel assembly go for mod. It's risky to remove the insert without proper knowledge. It's very easy to break it at the top by the triangle. I have a v6s that has a broken pearl. I tried to remove the insert as its not useable in its current state, and I noticed the top at the triangle is split. I've ordered a v7 assembly with insert as a replacement. I may send the whole insert assembly to OP and let their expertise remove the insert and perform the paint mod.

yes, he do have some fully mod, but no much quantity ! )3 also said that the triangle is extremely easy to broke! And I broke mine also, so the safe way is to ask trust dealer to directly sent to him.

If you wanna soak the insert in the glue remover, please be aware of the composition of it. Some of the remover contains acetone, this chemical will wash the lume away.

It might looks totally different after you matte the insert, please show me the result since you have it!!
