That is a bummer.

Yes, very much so.

Is the case normal luminor thickness or 18mm thick as stated on their site??

Case is the shining star. It’s identical to my super rep 416 and 111. Only the lugs are a little different. Really impressed with the case. Dial is acceptable. Strap is terrible. Movement feels poor, though it might have additional damage in the gears that I can’t see. Even if it was operational, I think this factory’s movement will require immediate servicing.

Let us know how they respond about your issue, I was about to place an order for one as well...

Coms before today have been excellent. Great dealer! I’m just hoping they can help me on the cost of the service to fix it rather than asking me to send it back, wait for two weeks, then ultimately be out of luck on stock because they only had a couple remaining.

The current price has to be purely based on supply and demand. $300 is way high for a low quality rep like this one. But like I said, the case is great. I should probably just buy the guts from another 111 and use those.

I too bought one of these 177s from Dealer Clocks (dealer review here: https://forum.replica-watch.info/for...-dealer-clocks) and I have to say that it has been spot on so far (apart from the strap which all but exploded as soon as I tried to adjust it on my wrist, but Sam at DC said it was not the best before I paid). It was a bit of a leap of faith, both on the watch and a probationary dealer, but I was really keen to try a Ti PAM and they are common as rocking horse shit. Unlike Duc (sorry to hear you are having problems with yours) the movement is solid, plus everything lines up, and the quality seems really good.

I'm no expert on PAMs, so contacted one of our PAM experts for his opinion and he suggested that it is "obviously not a V3/V4 caseset like the PAM111s but those didn't even become mainstream on that model but this would be at least a V2, same quality as the first super rep PAM111." I'd already pulled the trigger anyway so it was a moot point, but still, nice to know :)

Just to update my experience from above, Katt got mine fixed up and regulated. The DC guys offered to replace and even offered me a credit on my next order with them, for the trouble.

At the end end of the day, the piece is running, looks excellent, and my experience with DC was spectacular. Their communications and customer service are top notch. Very happy with their service.

dealerclocks Thank you!

That's easy. This was the last batch available from H-factory that offer titanium's pam's only with this brown crocodile strap.

Price of watch before this last batch was 175$. After, the nex batch with croco strap was about 300$ or more (depends on dealers).

The factory was closed two years ago if i remember well, and the boss was arrested.

The case factory isn't the same of noob watch case.

Looks like he still has some in stock, with the brown croc strap. I really want a titanium luminor and have struck out elsewhere. He has the PAM089 listed as in stock on his site but when I contacted him, it’s not in stock. Frustrating. But now I have my eyes on that PAM177. Think it’s worth $300?

Worth is relative. What may not be worth it to some may be completely worth it for others. Since you said you really want a titanium Luminor and you can only get this one, then I think you already have the answer to that question. If you're not completely decided then make one soon, I remember people sitting on the fence for the $600 PAM213 when it came out. Then all 80 pieces ever made sold out and VSF hasn't made any more since.
