Why would you hold his money ransom?
You should return his money immediately. You paid for a product and now you wait just like everyone else does. It's not COD.
Sead refunded the full amount simply due to concerns over Paypal. If you're not "that guy" and have no intentions of filing a dispute and are truely only concerned about the shipping cost then return the difference. Simple as that. Keep your $25, I'm sure Sead won't have issue with that. Otherwise, you are still taking advantage of the situation. Be a stand up guy, and do the right thing. Not returning it will only sink you deeper. Being the guy that does the right thing might just pull you out.

This, assuming you and Sead have in fact come to an agreement over the shipping refund, which he seemed perfectly willing to do in his reply.

for him it was very clever gesture cause now ball on my side and he is so pure and clean but i am the "devil". will refund him the funds for sure.

1.i order the watch from him. price = 229 +shipping(in this case +$25 for EMS shipping, that was clearly stated , confirmed by him and paid for)
2.in a while after my payment i got a tracking# for regmail shipping from HK (RT....HK) without any notice that he choosed this way of shipping
3.i have " a great expierence" with such kind of shipping to me - 1-2 months, depends on lucky. i dont know why he didn't notice me about regmail shipping but he did what he did(. i was (and am )very dissapointed cause of long time waiting cause i've paid him extra $25 for EMS shipping .
4. i've decided to let know about this issue to all RWI members. my goal was to warn everyone that this TD has such behavior. and i dont understand what did i do wrong? He did a mistake(or what?) and not me at all.
5. i hope that after this thread all TDs will do their business better for all of us.

You don't understand what's going on? You behaved like a small child, throwing a fit, because you did not get what you wanted. As far as why Sead shipped your watch the way he did...did you read his response??? I copied and highlighted, underlined the key points for you------

the worst thing is that he bought from me before and yes i shipped ems to him (checked records) but that time was available and i had no issues.
things change and shippings change too (same thing like chicago customs, they were the safest, now not so much), i did the right thing in my opinion.
im still trying to figure it out what he wanted to say, what he wanted to achieve with this, really
even worst thing is he bought a few watches from me and i delivered always to him and he does this because of the shipping service or something, really dont understand,
if u take all 85000 people and ask them would thay do this i doubt the would,
anyway i really dont know what to epect from all of this, i did refund full amount at least i have my pp safe
He ships many watches per month. Sead knows what the safest method is to ship a watch to you.
You really need to relax.
Sead did nothing wrong, doesn't mean you send EMS before then you will be able to always use it. Customs might be more lax in the past but sticter now, happen to many location before, he just did what is best to safeguard his interests and yours in order that you can receive your watch safely.
If you can't wait then go buy from M2M which the other party is within your country or if your insist on EMS then tell your dealer you are willing to bear full responsibility if the parcel is confiscated.
You are getting comments that are going against you is because you are selfish who insist to send by EMS doesn't matter it is safe or not and also you are making a big fuss for a difference of $15 and just a matter of a week or 2....
You might not ask for a refund but by starting this thread with the comment you made, it makes you very high risk of open a PP dispute and that is why Sead refund you and most likely you have been strike off his customer list and worst from most TD here.
You are not a new member, have been here for at least 3 years, you should have know better how all this thing works yet you behave like a brainless noob who cry over for small matter.......
Good luck to you to find your next TD who are willing to deal with you after this......:facepalm:
So rather than contact Sead and try to resolve the issue privately, or open a Helpdesk ticket and get the staff involved, you skipped straight to publicly declaring that Sead should no longer be a TD and trying to harm his reputation on the boards without actually knowing why he acted as he did. Then Sead came and told you that he didn't make a mistake and that he chose to ship via HK Post because it is safer for both of you right now, and he still refunded all your money because you were threatening his livelihood.
Now you're apparently holding on to that money "until the watch arrives" instead of paying him what you owe, minus the $25 you paid for EMS shipping, which means the watch that's on it's way to you is coming straight out of Sead's pocket. That's not right.
I understand that you're disappointed in having to wait a long time, but you need to understand that if your watch gets seized or "lost" during shipment it is the TD that pays the price to replace it, so if EMS wasn't safe at the time then Sead did the right thing trying to make sure the watch got to you safely the first time. Sead is great. Got a last minute order in to him right before CNY. Didn't even bother having him send QC pics. I trusted he would send me a good watch and that's exactly what I got. Just came in today and couldn't be happier. Will definitely use him in the future.

so it will be delivered around tuesday i would say

if u recall a few pages back, u called me not a trusted dealer!!!!!! really that pissed me and i didnt know what to expect from this so i better of to refund at least to protect my paypal,
as when u call someone not trusted dealer that is warning right away for my paypal.
how u can call me not a trusted dealer, did i take ur money and run away
did i sell u something that i didnt advertize
or something else?
or purely u have a right to call me not a trusted dealer because at the present time i used hk mail (safer method) instead ems.
yes u did ask to send u back difference between hk mail and ems, but after seeing what u wrote i refunded everything i just want to protect my paypal.
second thing i want to mention, if u or any member guarantee ur customs or taxes, i can send u anyhow u want, dhl, fedex, ems etc etc, but if something happens to the watch im responsible right, so do i have a right to send the watch the safest way?
third thing eastern europe, i always ship hk mail, unless i can use ems, if the shipping agency says ok we can do it(ems).
last orders i sent u all ems as u requested as was fine to use it, but now wasnt (why in the world i would not use ems like before if it was safe)
no i didnt contact u to tell u i cant use ems, why ?
1. because i was right infront of holiday,
2. there is not other safe shipping option to use
3. because i did switch many times to the other members when given shipping wasnt safe and i never ever had a problem until now
if i knew this would be i problem,

Sead, go enjoy your holiday mate, you've done everything you can do and I don't think anyone here (except the OP) thinks you are wrong.
Seeing as you already refunded him the money, the choice is now up to him whether to pay you what he owes or not. If he does, it might earn him back a bit of respect, but if not then you're no worse off than you are right now.
We've all tried to explain to him the situation, whether he listens to us or not is another thing we just can't control. No need to stress about it any more, just let the situation play out however it will.
I haven't bought from you yet, but I know a lot of people that I respect on here swear by you, and that's enough for me to know you're a good guy and definitely trusted in my books.

I will continue to trust Sead here as a great 'Trusted Dealer'. And so will a multitude of members here. Period. Sead has always tried to do his very best to please everyone here. The OP doesn't get it and I don't think he'll hang around long enough to suss out that this isn't about $25 or a shipping method.
This isn't Amazon; the TD will do their best to get you what you want as safely and quickly as possible, that's the deal. They all have thousands of sucessful deliveries behind them and their judgement is to be trusted and not questioned. Whine about it like a baby and you're going to fall foul of the members who understand the game, endanger a TDs method of business for everyone else and you'll be excommunicated.
He's still around and posting in other sections. He got a smack down after lipping off to a mod in his sales thread.
