I think the most obvious thing is that the subdials don't overlap.

I agree, it's toto plain as a dial.

Anyone knows what are the tells for the Zenith Pilot GMT rep? I saw a gen, and the GMT hand moves half hour each time the side button is pushed. The rep do the same, or moves an hour each time is pushed? Anyway, there is any tell, beside opening the case and see the movement?

There was once a great Defy Extreme reps from Noob I think, but sadly very unpopular. The watch looks like this:
