How about a lume shot! Next pers9n to get qc pics please try to ask for a lume shot. Ot if you receive the watch. But it will probably be a month or so before anyone actually gets the watch.

Has anyone been able to confirm the thickness? That’s the only thing making me wait to order.

This is encouraging. I think gen is 14.5, they have managed to come close. This is becoming a “must have” from VSF.

My feeing is there is a bunch more good releases coming from VSF this year, my wallet is not liking it at all :(

I don't think it's a problem. I just asked if anyone had seen a lume shot and he replied.

Why is VSF listing the movement as P9010 when they are using a P9000 clone movement ?????

"The new P.9010 movement is an updated version of the calibre P.9000. The main difference is a reduced thickness (down from 7.9mm to 6.0mm), 3 more jewels (now 31). [The most noticeable difference] It now features a balance bridge rather than a balance cock, as on the P.9000 calibre."

It's marketing speak. Yes it's a superclone P.9000 movement but since the watch has a closed caseback and you won't be able to see the movement, they decided to use the superclone P.9000 movement as it has a gen function and they did not want to waste the investment. It would have made more sense (and cost less) to use the A7750-based P.9010 clone movement as it has the quick date function although technically speaking that's the original P.9000 clone movement.

because VSF originally purchased the gen P9000 movement watch and super cloned it, but the gen movement all had an update from quick hour change (p9000) to quick date change (p9010) because gen user complained about it annoying to use the quick hour change (i feel the same), but the VSF didnt wanna bother to super clone another movement, so they just put the old cloned movement into all future watches

Nope, P9010 still has jump hour date change, as it was with P9000:

“In the P.9010 calibre the hours can be conveniently adjusted without interfering with the movement of the minute hand, thanks to the device which directly moves only the relative hand in jumps of one hour forward or backwards. This function is very useful when changing time zones or moving between summer time and winter time, and conveniently the adjustment of the hour hand is automatically connected to the date indicator.”
