New VSF Black on BLack

Looks nice, but I’m pretty sure the gen bezel is a lighter black based on videos I’ve seen of it. The lume should be the same color as the bezel. As far as rep quality goes though it looks pretty cool, I’d get it if you like it.
Will have to see qc pics to see how black it truly is.
So what's the verdict of this in comparison to the ORF version?
Personally, I think VSF got it closer to gen overall with the shades of the markers, dial and bezel, but still a bit off, but I'm curious about other opinions....

VSF for sure based on the TD pics, but it's very hard to tell the shades of the bezel and markers based on these photos. It would be better to get a natural lighting or a whitebox type of lighting to really tell. Luckily QC photos are taken w/ brighter lighting with a white background, so it will be nice to see JoshLogans.
Movement wise, considering this is a display case back, the lettering and finish of the VSF is faaaaaaar superior to ORF. However, I imagine it will have typical tells that are covered up by the rotor, so that point might be moot anyways.

Would love to hear how the bezel action is for this when you get it. I have the NTTD version and want to sell it so badly because the bezel was just not what I was expecting.

Get over it IMO lol. How often are you even using the bezel? Out of all the complaints people have I find the ones like these to be the silliest. If it turns and clicks it’s good in my book.
How about the hands looking a bit pinkish in normal lighting on the NTTD? Or this bezel looking too black compared to gen? Those seem like bigger issues than whether the bezel turns nicely.
Also, it’s unlikely they made any changes for this release. They basically copy paste these Seamasters IMO, haven’t seen any real differences between the various models.

Looks like the bezel is still a bit too dark IMO. It should be the lighter gray like the lume. On the gen those are the same color. It looks better than the TD pics though, it’s pretty close. Overall I think it’s passable enough, you’d need a gen side by side to really compare.A few of my QC pics from David

Your indices are really well aligned though, so that’s nice at least QC wise.
