Get over it IMO lol. How often are you even using the bezel? Out of all the complaints people have I find the ones like these to be the silliest. If it turns and clicks it’s good in my book.

How about the hands looking a bit pinkish in normal lighting on the NTTD? Or this bezel looking too black compared to gen? Those seem like bigger issues than whether the bezel turns nicely.

Also, it’s unlikely they made any changes for this release. They basically copy paste these Seamasters IMO, haven’t seen any real differences between the various models.

I honestly appreciate that. I guess my thought is I rarely meet others who have the same watch as me so its hard to spot those differences. While I may take it off for someone if someone asks to wear it.

You are right though, and like I said, I appreciate what you said and it pushes me to care less about it in some funny way :)

Maybe the right side of the 12 is off by a little bit. The 6 looks weirder to me tbh lol. By far not the worst I've seen, honestly pretty good by factory standards lol. Your money, up to you. Most people will say that's acceptable though.

You might have drank too much bourbon my man! Sober up. It’s as straight my Johnson.

I'm afraid you didn't recognize my irony in my post concerning the question of Gtmatt22 and the answer of BMW760 I referred to.

I have ordered on of these black on black and all the markers are perfect. The 12 marker and thr 6 look slightly off. I would ask for a new one.

Ceramic is indeed a tricky material to mold, color and cut. We can't just zoom in 4x and expect Swiss precision from Chinese factories .
However, If it's bugging you, by all means ask for a replacement but to me, yours is no more crooked than your average clone:

maybe those 12 hours are not at the same elevation level from the dial surface but even if they are, I think those black marker frames have uneven finishes due to crude cutting so they're not gonna catch higlights evenly so they will look weird depending on the light. I would ask for new photos under different lights before RL this because they'll probably have you wait for weeks and replacement could turn out even worse :)

Now, if someone could make an ORF vs VSF comparison, that would be much appreciated!

Thank you for the thoughtful reply instead of sending lopsided breasts or gifs.

I would be happy to do a side by side but orf is hard to source at the moment.

The black looks so much better In person. The gold is something else.

Can you confirm that the case is actually ceramic? Looks like steel in the prototype pics over at PT and my QCs.

Black on black makes for a great looking watch in the daytime. But at night you can't see it. I have this gen Seiko SRPD79K1 that I had modded and I hardly ever wear it because I can't see it at night. And sometimes even in the daytime its hard to just glance at for the time. Maybe its my eyes.

I have many watches without lume that aren’t black and I also can’t see shit in dark places.

I’m sure your seiko give u lots of enjoyment, same thing goes for the Omega.

I have dark side of the moon all blacked out, I can’t complain, probably I can read it better than any tritium vintage watch that the lume is gone.

I have the same watch and also wanted to modded it, but I didn't because of the same issue; Seiko's lume is weak on this watch. Cant see at night and day time is also an Issue as stated... And this is the reason not to buy this Black on Black... I don't know, maybe the size is a bit bigger maybe this watch will not have the same issues... don't know...
