Love these comparison shots! Thank you!

Man...if that’s mk3...what da hell did noob copied..mk4? Lol

Noob does replicate the colors well in certain angles but when it’s placed right next to gen...it’s game over

Really wanna see gen vs new vrf max now

Thank you so much for taking time to post these pictures mate!

Happy new year! ????

Thanks and to you too!
The colours do look off in certain light when they're sitting next to each other but on the wrist, in isolation, it would be a tough call precisely because of the way lighting changes the bezel so radically.
Without knowing the Rolex timeline for the 3 bezel types, it's impossible to determine which mark noob used-I've had that watch for over a year now and who knows how long it took noob to perfect a 1 piece insert? 6 months? a year?

I'd love to get a VRF to photograph the 3 together but my watch buying is curtailed for a while now by order of my wife :(

Gen V Noob
Sorry for the delay, I'll try to answer everything asked so far.
I believe I have a Mark 3 bezel as the watch literally arrived at the AD from Rolex only a few days ago.
Yes, it has the Easylink adjustment and it is very tight to unclip.

I've done a few more comparison pics, all indoors unfortunately as the weather has been so poor here.
Please excuse the awful photography!

Sorry for the question, (feels like being a complete newbie, actually to GMTs I am..) but what does the term „Max“ stand for?

VRF is the only one I've seen use that term, usually when they come out with a slightly improved model. In this case it's the better insert.

I assume you are saying the left is the better of the 2.

What makes the Noob a $658 watch vs. VRF at $508?

I get new QCs because of the date... it looks terrible from this perspective. The hands are a lot smaller, the bezel is not so dirty like in the right one. And the bezel outside looks flat, more like gen.

Im new in gmt Master blro so I do learning by doing ;)

The noob version is overpriced in any option. The movement is really bad in this watch. I hope next time for a super good blro oob.

The noob is overpriced but it was a fabulous leap forward for the Pepsi insert.

The movement does have a known defect but if the hour hand is not ‘jumped’ it would seem to be as reliable as any Chinese 2824/2836 movement.

I had mine serviced when I acquired it over a year ago and it’s still ticking away perfectly on a winder at +4 seconds per day.

I was happy to pay the noob price back then but now we have more choice of inserts and a great clone movement.

I hope my vrf arrives soon. If I’m unhappy with the vrf Dial I will order a noob version and i hope till this a new better version of the blro is available. In the sub two tone world is something new an really good. I hope this although for the gmts.

Just little comparison noob v11 (base is Batman i swapped noob pepsi insert into it) vs vrf max.

I think overall noob is much better. Bracelet is better, rehault is better, markers are better and i can't stand the split between 18 and 6 on vrf. I know noob colors of the insert might not be correct but I like them better.

Bezel action is 100 times better on noob.
Crown screw in like butter on noob on vrf is grinding.

The bad on noob was on side of the sel was too high. I had to adjust it.

Anyway here some pics:

Hehe, i didn't know which one will be better for my meteorite project so I got two... Noob is much better.

Please keep in mind the noob had gen hands and gen crystal so don't look at those. This was more bracelet/bezel/insert/crown/markers comparison.
