I've pulled thr trigger and ordered. Once I receive I'll measure thickness and try and take some detailed pictures. Already spotted a few flaws from QC video, but atleast date wheel is now correct colour. Obviously can't compare to gen in hand but will compare to photos

Gen is 13.7mm so anything close to 14mm is great.

Following this with interest as the watch is really nice

Price wise it will depend on the finish - for $600 I expect ZF quality (which 8F is quite far usually)

Yeah its missing this whole side piece of the gen version.
If it was only ~400$ I would probably buy one because it still looks good enough. But for 600+ I expect it to be better.
Still may buy one.

These are getting much better. I can't wait for this. Is there any options for additional straps/bands as I noticed it has a quick release?

My watch arrived earlier today, I have had a couple of hours usage so far and here is some pics and my thoughts:
The issues:
  • The complete missing crown guards on the side (still nice without)
  • The cross on dial is too dark
  • The colour on date wheel is a differnet shade
  • The metal strap - Whilst visually nice it is very lightweight and cheap feeling, plenty of play inbetween links
  • Small strap - I dont have huge wrists and it only just fits me with all links still intact
Thoughts
It is a very lovely watch, pleasant on the eye and good feel (except strap). I have the blue strap also so will try this over the weekend. The watch has a thickness of 15mm, so a touch thinner than anticipated but still thicker than gen. I paid £310 inc shipping, for that amount I am happy with the watch. I doubt it will replace my daily, but it is nice to have options.

Further to my previous post, I have now had over 24 hours use and have tried the blue/orange leather strap.

The strap is of ok quality, standard replica quality I suppose. It has kept the nice features of the gen with it using a clasp and having the little screw to hold the set sizing. Again the strap is quite small, only couple of spare holes remaining.

Still pretty happy, not the most solid feeling rep but not bad for the money.

I do however have 1 big gripe with the watch. The rotor on the 7750 is extremely noisy! I have a Miyota 9015 that has the single direction winding on rotor and you can occasionally hear that when it spins crazy in the wrong direction. This is much louder, it also seems to knock with a vertical movement up and down and not just free spinning. Is this common on the 7750?

Thanks, Martin

Just to add here another detail that can be improved by the latest pictures here are the minutes and hours hands. The gen has troncated hands, not so pointy.

I am really interested in this model, as soon as a more accurate replica is out I'll surely buy it
