Looks like ZF is working again! I just got QC pics for the order I placed after the raid (ordered before CNY).

If you ask me they did actually do a better job on the blue v1 than on the black v2. Besides other minor flaws on the black v2 the washed out dial kills it for me. I am very tempted to buy the blue one but I am not that confident matching it with my daily wardrobe :/

Overall very close.
Issues:
ZF chamfers are too wide and don't taper.
Lugs too wide
Dial printing quite flat, genuine had more depth especially on Tudor shield and logo. Swiss Made not centered. Chapter ring flat

How is the clasp in comparison to the gen? My ZF bb58 Blue has a crappy clasp and I wonder if it's the same on the gen. A lot of wiggle on the hinge..
I've not handled this particular rep but in general with ZF the quality can be more miss than hit. I've had about six ZF BB reps and only one had a clasp that compared favourably with my gen.
I don't think you're right on this. I've been watching on BB58 for a long time before pulling the trigger and I'm pretty sure there's difference in tube length. Even in this thread.

I need your opinion. Isn't the crown tube too long?
Certainly looks like it. Either the crown isn’t wound in, or the BB 58 Blue has picked up the same glitch as the BB 58 Black v2. Worth asking your dealer.

ZF version :
Afaik ZF is the only factory producing the BB 58.
