New Seamaster Diver 300M Gen grey vs Vsf black

Tell VSF they are wrong. It's been more than 10 years when omega recently had put a grey dial in 300m model.
Check the gen side - feedback about the grey dial is all positive, people would go crazy for this watch on a new bracelet.
Rep of the grey dial will sell like LMPO.

Apparently they agree - Toro told me the VSF grey dial was being released next week.

I returned my gen grey dial as posted earlier as it just didn’t do it for me. I get the black dial on tuesday(gen). If they rep the bracelet correctly this will be a pretty good rep.

I do have a slight concern that as much as I like the pics of the grey dial it won’t work quite as well on my wrist, which is why I’m also tempted by the blue.

If VSF are indeed releasing the grey then I’ll need to stick my head into an AD and make the call.

Overall both VSF blue/black look decent (not sure about the AR though). I will buy it if they fix the bracelet, include the rubber strap and keep it under $400 (just like their Planet Ocean).

Just saw the grey dial version on Trustytime website...it looked horrendous, the dial color was all wrong. I'm going to pull the trigger on the blue....

Same qustion I had asked before, he reply: 'need time. As with other new movement, however, we need to tested out the new before put them on the market. '

Many repair has been already uncoordinated , is not allowed by the new market situation High-risk . they put stability in the first palace,
so I think it need a few months after they accept the black balance stability .

1. New 2018 bracelet is a must - they did impressive job with 2018 case, dial and so on - they ruin own reps when they put the old 2012 bracelet on 2018 case,
2. forget about eta with black balance - put 8500 clone inside, just update the writing on the rotor. No-one cares about the other stuff, cosmetics and constructive differences between 8500 and 8800 are not very important, proper writing on the rotor is enough.

1. In 3-4 months, no one can't get a super rep bracelet from any factory. 3 months is a quikly production phase for a super bracelet rep, Is it right with the reality ?

2. use the 8500 clone is a good idea, I advice vsf to use black balance 2824 same as mkf. As the rist of stability,vsf no accept.
Disassembly the balance and then electroplate has the very big instability.

Black balance 2824 is the best choice for this new seamaster. But it is the movement factory aspects. If movement manufacturer execute this project, It will be perfect.

The 8500 clone is a bit different cosmetically from the 8800, but not excessively and it would look much more gen-like than any ETA. Honestly the main noticeable difference would be the huge rotor bearings of the 8800 which resemble those of the ETA 2892.

Also the jump hour hand function is freaking awesome, the rep would be even better than gen!
