Looks like the ROF from this thread. I think someone is mistaken about GSF, they haven't made these models AFAIK. Check the green 904 stickers on the ROF QC pics. If you can post a clear pic of the ROLEX font on the "GSF" dial, the L in ROLEX has an extended serif on the foot base on the ROF.

Thanks for the comment, i had a feeling it was ROF, i have asked for more pictures and will keep an eye out for the extended L serif font on the dial.

Has anyone out there ordered/received an ROF blnr/Batman. If so, I would love to hear your feedback. It seems like all the reviews so far have been for the Pepsi.

I just received the QC for my ROF Batman, not particularly happy with it, tbh. The 18 transition is nothing like the one on Trusty's site, the one I've been given is MUCH higher... I'm not sure what the rules are about posting it up here.

That does look a bit high, but keep in mind how small the difference is when it is on the wrist. I was looking at my Gen and you literally have to get in perfect lighting, take a picture, then zoom in on the 18 to see clearly where the transition is. Did you GL it yet?

At second glance when comparing to the pictures of the ROF on Trusty's site, it appears the 1 serif on the 18 is nonexistent. I wonder if this is actually an ROF model or if they changed the bezel supplier.

Can you post more of your QC pictures?

Nothing wrong with posting a single QC pic with an issue and asking opinions about it bro.

I understand you'd like it to be perfect and you could ask the TD to see another one. If the rest of the watch is acceptable, you always risk something else being wrong. It's a nice looking insert IMO. Blue color is good, font spacing and thickness, 1 serif tips are parallel to the main body, etc.

The 18 transition on your QC pic is not off much at all and tiny flaws like that are soon forgotten the longer you wear the watch.

Look where the 18 transition is on my Noob Pepsi. I never think about it except in discussions like these.

That insert is easily the second best sample of rep Batman inserts I've seen. You can buy an ARF insert for about $140 but some of those have transition points a little too low on the 18. Or you get lucky and it's perfect. But the ARF movement can die on you any moment.

Two ARF samples, on left the transition is correct, on right it's a little low.

Nobody will call you out for a little blue in your 8 holes.

This doesn't look like ROF compared to Trusty website pics. Not only is the transition too high, the 1 doesn't have the curved serif font. Something smells fishy here...

That insert isn't a GMF (1 serif has diagonal tip) or VRF (has super high transition) or V9F (way skinny) or ARF (obviously) or Noob (garbage).

It is a little different from the one shown on Trusty's site - that one has a transition point that's too low. Ask to see a clasp code and you can know that the watch is an ROF. That's all a TD can give you, a watch made by the factory you ordered from. ROF clasp code is 138.

ROF insert as shown by Trusty (18 transition is low)

There are some variations on gen Batman inserts for the 18 transition but the majority of them fall even with the bottom of the 8 holes such that both colors are not found inside them.

I agree that 1 serif is as straight as an arrow ....

Got qc Pics through for my ROF Pepsi GMT and first noticed that the transition at the 18 seemed to be a bit low. Rehaut doesn't seem to be aligned and there seems to be what appears to be a blemish on the front glass of the watch (forgive my knowledge of not knowing the correct term).

Everything else in my eyes seems to look okay, the bracelet obvcourse i will only know of build quality once my piece arrives.

Wow, ARF had the exact same issue with their Batman insert. I got one from the initial batch which had a better 18 transition. I think your rehaut is pretty well aligned for rep standards...If you are sending the watch for service (which I strongly recommend), watchmaker has some room to improve alignment. The smudges seem to be dirt, ask the TD for more QC pics.

Here is noob comparing to gen , gen i got is MK3 which has a darker blue and red . Noob is very close though except that the red color on noob is a bit brownish. If you put VRF or ROF insert on noob you get the closest look i guess

What would you say are my best options going forward, I have replied to the TD highlighting the insert issue, and will get more QC pictures. If the rehaut is a common issue for replicas i can deal with that, not expecting it to be perfect at the end of the day.

Don't sweat over rehaut issue, it can be corrected to some extent and not noticable on wrist (you have to "mentally" let it go, hope you know what I mean). I would be most concerned about the smudges. The 18 transition is also not noticable on wrist and you may get an even more worse sample next if you reject QC. BTW, your date doesn't seem centered, you will probably need to send for service together that fixed as well.

No to rain on anyone´s parade, but seeing all these problems with current Pepsis, no matter what factory, I will wait for VSF to throw their hat into the GMT´s ring. Here´s hoping :)
