V1 or V2 - you be the judge...
So what are your thoughts on the watch as a whole. Is it light? Is it thinner than other RM's

Just as light as the RM27-01 or RM35-01 or even less. Pretty impressed with it.
The case itself feels like its carved out of a stone as it’s a bit rough. Might not be the best explanation but it feels like a high end quality rep, like all other proper RM reps.
Would recommend it 10 out 10 for whats available as current RM Reps.
Definitely my favorite RM rep right now!
That's V1 all the way
This is what people calls V2.
I guess I am lucky to have the V1 if that’s supposed to be the V2. Saw the RM 27-02 in real life and there is nothing shiny to it like in the instagram picture above.
Plus the gen doesn't come in those color schemes.

Yes Jay gen doesn't look like v2 but nowhere close to v1 also. I'll hold my wallet for the time being

Agreed. I also have RM 27-02 V1 and RM 56-01.
I think both are the lightest RM rep to date.
RM 27-02 only weight 73 grams include velcro strap.
I've tried RM 27-01 and 35-02. Both still heavier than this V1.
Yes, it’s still a far cry compared to the GEN, but the best we can currently get.
Pictures don’t really do it’s justice. It’s just a watch in it’s own league.

Nice to hear. From the TD pictures the V1 carbon on the side looks to have the correct style grain. It's like they cut it the wrong way. If the V2 isn't carbon then the V1 might turn out tonne the best option. Tempted as I am, don't have the funds this side of Christmas.

As i told you guys that v1 and v2 are different factory. Most of the TDs couldnt source the v2, that why i picked up the v1 just for now, my TD will notify me whenever the factory list the v2 for sale and i will buy another for sure for comparison .

As i told you guys that v1 and v2 are different factory. Most of the TDs couldnt source the v2, that why i picked up the v1 just for now, my TD will notify me whenever the factory list the v2 for sale and i will buy another for sure for comparison .

that was what I was trying to say..the "v2" is way closer to gen than v1 which is beautiful but no where near gen..
I just spoke to legendwatch.. They didn't know what QC was, so after a bit of back and forth, this is what they sent me.. no orange strap available btw and the price is $650 yuk:
