Let's wait to know what
@KJ2020 think about this release.
Factory ?
This rep looks very good overall. It has all the characteristics of the previous "new Noob" models.
Accurate spacing of the dial coronet, ROLEX text and red triangle. GMT wheel size and fonts are good. Datewheel fonts are correctly larger and bolder than other Rolex models. The dial date window is a little too wide with rounded corners. The dial maker correctly added the two dial coronets at 6 o'clock, new to this model.
While these models have a significant downside of an ultra cheap low beat DG5833 movement, at least that movement is quite reliable and easily replaced. I still have three that have never failed, two are nearly 5 years old.
Gen on left
Gen on right
Here are some pics of the gen "mint" color. It appears to me that the gen GMT wheel is a different shade than the dial. The gen dial looks jade, the wheel looks emerald. Ofc lighting plays a huge role in this.
The rep mint dials in general have all looked too dark to me. This one is no exception. Some outdoor or bright direct light pics would be appreciated.
Something everyone buying a rep Skydweller should look closely at is horizontal text alignment in the center dial section. Those dial sections are just tacked on with double-sided tape and they can get dragged clockwise by the hour hand collar.
