Noob now making this replica in 904 L steel. Do not know if still producing the 316 L version also, but can confirm with 100% certainty that have moved to production with the better metal.

I just got my QC pics and came here to post as they do have a 904 sticker, note that I didn’t pay any extra for that.
I have written back for further photos straight on the dial as can’t make out if the 6oclock market is crooked or if it’s the angle

Personally like the sky-dweller quite a lot, but I dont think well ever see a really almost "clone" like rep anytime soon, just to complicated and not enough demand, still cool to see it though!

Well mine sat at Guangzhou Intl since Jun 17 waiting to be picked up by DHL. Just heard that it "didn't pass customs" and "was re-shipped". So IDK if It's the same watch I QC'ed or a replacement. This time it's going through Singapore not HK so I wonder if the new Chinese crackdown on HK is a factor.

So either it's always been 904L and they got the description wrong at first, or they just started putting the sticker on to boost sales knowing you can't really tell the difference. Because one thing is sure - they don't sell 904L at the same price as 316L. That would be a marketing mistake of enormous proportions which Noob is well known for NOT doing.

904L, a deco plate, and a better date wheel would make the Noob $100 price jump make more sense no? So one would think it's more likely that the description is wrong which has happened in the past. But it's as you say, it's also really easy to slap a 904l tag onto 316l because who's really gonna tell.

It already has the deco plate and the best DW Noob has so it looks like the sticker is free.

damn that blue dial looks matte as hell in pictures, but i can actually see the sunburst in the videos. its looking more and more promising!!! ill wait a few weeks to order, see how people like the watch in person first

Quick observations:
The rep's GMT wheel is slightly higher, which crunches some of the room for the coronet, ROLEX and red triangle.

It looks like you are using the dials as the common reference points. I'm not sure that is a safe assumption. It's possible the rep is using a 41mm case, not 42mm like the gen. My two previous version Sky-D's have 21mm lug width, not 22mm. So we'll have to see what size the Noob case and dial actually are compared to the gen.
