Lume colour and shadows are just lighting conditions

I can confirm on shadows being due to lighting. Already had almost the same sandwich dial and it was behaving exactly the same with artificial illumination. I should get mine by the end of the next week.. not much wait left. Here is my QC pic with proper lighting:

We're not talking about black and white here. Getting the exact same color as gen is almost impossible, unless you have a gen on hand and a large amount of time to experiment.
Even then, a pic comparison could be misleading depending from light conditions and camera settings.

I just wanted to revive this thread a little (although its just a couple of days). Anyone has got this on their wrist already? Would appreciate some honest feedback as I am also about to pull the trigger. Owned a 292J H fac previously but this seems so much more sleek with its simple dial!

Here is one on black nubuck gator strap.

As said, the DLC crown is a little bit darker than the case, but it really depends of the lightning source... In normal condition, you just can see no difference.

Has anyone any experience of this with a quartz movement? There, I said it and I don't feel too dirty....

Just strikes me that it would avoid the daily unscrew / rescrew / tighten of the crown when the crown tube stands a chance of coming adrift from the ceramic.

Some nail varnish skilfully applied to the crown should complete the illusion.

Please pardon the heresy.
