Why did I buy the gen again? Lol..JK. Seriously though, that doesn't look so bad. Appreciate the high res pictures!

The blue looks very good under the light. Has that sunburst effect like on the gen and the blue colour looks very close. Some imperfections if you look closely though such as the slightly taller crown, some rough application of lume around some of the hour markers. The teak lines also look too deep. The teak is flatter and more subtle on the gen. But all those flaws can really be seen only when seen and scrutinized up close or with a loupe. A part of me is tempted to get the rep just so i can post a comparison with my gen.

I'm coincidentally wearing mine today at work....

Looking at the video... That blue AT looks pretty close to my gen.. Wow. I'm impressed. I'm gonna have to handle the rep itself in the flesh and see how the blue dial really is to be sure how close it really is to the gen. Scary...

how do these wear on the wrist compared to some other popular watches? i'm thinking they might feel pretty big on my wrist.

I have tried at AD the 39mm and 41mm. The 39mm is more proportionate and beautiful. I have to say that i love the big watch and i was more interested into 41mm but i changed my mind after i tried both

I'm also waiting to see if they come up with 38.5mm, I would buy it in a heartbeat.
At the moment I have 41mm version swiss ETA with metal frame around date window (earlier model), and I find it a bit big for my 6.75" wrist.
imranbecks I hope you get to compare your gen vs this one, I 'm really interested in result.

Do you mean the 38.5mm 8500 or the 39mm 2500?

The 39mm aqua terra with 2500 or 1120 I think have the best case proportions, at least for my wrist size.

I’ll have to go try one on at the dealer here to see how it fits.

I can wear both the 38.5 and 41.5, but I prefer the 41.5 because it just seems more casual and it fits my lifestyle better. I used to have the 38.5 quartz AT and at times I found it to be too small for me. Here is the 41.5 AT on my 7" wrist....
