Mine arrived yesterday, will post some photos soon. Does anyone know whether the case back is screw down/pry open type? And also what is the easiest way to take off the watch without hurting the fingers because the clasp is really tight? Thank you so much!

I have posted a case construction chart somewhere in this thread. The caseback is held with the 4 screws in the left (2x)and right (2x) side.

Clasp will loosen with use

Just my 2 cents after 3 weeks of ownership, and something like 7 or 8 days wearing it on my wrist: this rep is absolutely stunning, incredibly “gen feel” in my opinion.

Of all the reps I’ve bought so far, this is IMO the most refined, the most gorgeous. And the rotor noise is super discrete.

A must have for every PP lovers!

If you're looking for a PPF 5726, I would recommend to purchase from Tony as a TD at https://www.asian7750.co.
He was able to source the watch and provide QC within a week for mines.

Stunning!

Can someone measure the bezel from 12 to 6 for me? Perhaps lug-to-lug as well?

I know it's a claimed 40.5mm, but that's measured from 10 to 4, and from this picture given that the Daytona bezel is 38.5mm, this makes the measurement 37mm which is way smaller than 40.5mm.

I think if I had to pick just one watch, the 5726 PPF is the one to get.

I feel the same way about my 5712 at the moment but that may change when the 5726 gets back from a repair/ service. I have the white dial but will probably buy a spare blue or grey dial from Trusty. I think the contrast of the white date on a blue or grey dial makes it pop better.

One more note is that the lume on the 3KF are quite weak. The PPF is great out of the box, lume last all night. Strange that 3KF would cheap out on lume but produce such a nice looking movement. I have my 3kF at Strodda waiting for relume on hands

Improvements I find it funny, that whenever I get QC photos and they put it on a timegrapher, it always shows something good. My QC showed +8, but was actually -20/day?

Anyways took the time and learned the hard way which was beat error and which is faster and slower. I spend most of the time doing beat error, because I thought it was the fast/slow

Here is everything I did to my watch.
-Silicone grease in the rotor screw area, its really softens the sound and dont notice rotor anymore
-adjusted timing
-wiped down smudges with some alcohol
-opened and closed the case 50 times for OCD

Hi everyone.

Mine was just delivered. I think I'm in love. This is my eighth rep, and clearly the one which sounds more "gen like", out of the box... I'm quite impressed.

My 5726 is also -26s/day. I don't want to send it to watchmaker, so I just set up time every 2-3 days.

When I look at my watch. I am really want PPF make 5726 green dial. I would buy it although Gen doesn't make.

If I manually wind it every day mine stays ok, but once the power reserve goes down it loses time fast. Also it's really uncomfortable to screw down the crown. Otherwise a lovely rep.

I don’t think they are assembled by PPF. The assembly quality is not great in my opinion. But since mine was serviced - and every parts aligned correctly- it is absolutely amazing
