So, Today I pulled the plug on this one.

I hope it is as good as it looks. I have not seen anyone here that has ordered it. If someone have, would you please care to comment on how good it is and perhaps post a picture?

Certainly one of the best looking rep versions but way off the mark in terms of accuracy. Looking forward to seeing some pictures.

The rep Portuguese 7 day is more akin to a 5001 than a 5007 in terms of dial printing, position of strap and movement, especially the rotor. IWC never made a 5001 in rose gold and ardoise apart from a "Year of the Dragon" limited edition, which had some differences from a regular 5001, the obvious one being the medallion in the rotor.

Most TD's are calling there version a 5007-02. The 5007 in rose gold also has a different clasp design compared to the 5001. I agree the rep is a cool looking watch, but a knowledgeable IWC owner would certainly know it is a fake. Then again, how many IWC owners do you associate with? This is a hobby after all and if we were looking for perfection we should all save enough money and buy a gen.

I see.

One of the errors I think the TDs are stating is Rose Gold.
They are in Red Gold (or in other words normal gold)
To me it looks very much like what is on the IWC website.

I would not call it a bad rep by any means. They have done a great job in replicating the 7 day. The so called 5007-02 just is not the most accurate rep they produce. If you like it, just buy it, as with any watch.

I have but rejected the first piece. Waiting for my second QC. It's a nice color combination. Already have the stainless steel with white dial and gold numbers and it's a beautiful watch. The 5007-02 might not be accurate but it doesn't bother me! Just don't take it off for others to look closely!

I rejected it because of the datewheel position but I love the color combination!
