Anyone any idea or have pictures of how a curved end strap looks on the rep? I am guessing the lug holes are too far away from the case and will likely make the gap look bigger. Any help is appreciated.

The gen ardoise uses white gold for its entire case, while the zf rep is based on the stainless steel models. You can see several large areas of brushed steel for the rep while the gen is smoothen white gold. The gen also comes with hallmarks like the rose gold rep.

For the rep deployant, it also has a brushed steel clasp while gen is again white gold.

I thought WG was finished in the same way? Obviously st and wg have a different look and it's a shame they didn't put the hallmarks on it.

Ah, I had previously assumed all ZF rep models had the hallmarks, regardless of whether they were rose-toned or white-toned (sst). I suppose this is because I had been under the impression that all gen versions had solid gold cases, either rose gold or white gold. I just checked IWC's site and now I see that it indicates some 5007 cases are stainless steel, so I presume the 5001 was also done with stainless steel case in some of the colour schemes.

Aligborat69, thanks for the stunning pics! there was talk recently on the forum of no gold hallmarks on the ardoise dial. from your pics i didn't notice any hallmarks on your rg case. is it just the angel or is it missing as well?

The rose gold case rep does have the hallmarks. It looks like the white gold is missing them.

Certainly shows a great sunburst effect and confirms that only the RG case has the hallmarks.

The ardoise models are top of the line for iwc and only comes in precious metals

I just received the blue hands version ZF and its amazing. I am looking at the Grey dial version and was wondering if anyone can confirm the hallmarks and also does the metal look different White Gold? If the metal looks different is there someone out there that would rhodium plate this?
