Has there been any comparison of the blue numbers/hands to the gen? Am interested to know how close the shade of blue is.

Hi Hamtaro, a comparison with the Gen would be highly appreciated..my rep is on the way to me.
Sure I only had time to take out the ardoise and the blue hands is sitting in my drawer. Will take it out and do a comparison.
Thanks, Hamtaro! I'm finding it awfully hard to pass on this one in favour of the white/blue. I'd love to get both, but just don't think it's practical. Gotta pick 1!
Well the ardoise dial looks amazing. Let me know if u need some persuasion not to get this one because there are some glaring flaws if u know where to look lol
Gold with ardoise dial is only made in 5007 version, different clasp and bended spring bars (so strap fits case better)
Thanks, I've already know the ardoise / gold is not 5001 version. What i am asking is the Ardoise / SS glaring bit as I can't see it on the picture. He had the Ardoise / SS version by the way.
The gen ardoise uses white gold for its entire case, while the zf rep is based on the stainless steel models. You can see several large areas of brushed steel for the rep while the gen is smoothen white gold. The gen also comes with hallmarks like the rose gold rep.
For the rep deployant, it also has a brushed steel clasp while gen is again white gold.
I ordered the ardoise with gold but had to reject the first piece because the datewheel number is badly positioned. My first piece of ss with gold numbers was much better.
Well the rep is amazing. The shape of the hands, AR, colour of the dial is spot on! I think the numerals on the dial are very slightly more reflective than on the gen, but u gotta be a demon to be able to spot the difference and it is impossible unless u have a gen right next to u! So I would say it's 99% there!

i only have the blue hands one, can't afford the ardoise models :laugh:
in all honesty I am super glad they released this rep because it gave me the chance to own one and really the dial is pretty much like the gen. The case has the flaws I mentioned but hey I can live with those and save 20 grand lol
It's a crazily rep and I am sure you will love it! Get ready a decent strap haha
that's fine, I've decided to go for the Ardoise / SS model instead of the blue/white model. Thanks for your comments.

I'm sorry that it's not daylight pics, but it's to late here right now for that.
As most people said the strap isn't of the quality that it belongs on a nice watch like this.
The watch itself is stunning and date starting to change (on mine) around 10pm and switch over right after midnight.
The only problem I have now is to decide what color on the strap I want for it, brown or black.
Had decided before I got it that it would be brown, but now I'm not so sure.
