Yes I believe this is the YL factory, or whatever they called it. The ZF one will be out in October.

Yes, those are gold. I'm even colour blind!

I had to do a double take. They looked silver to me too. Toro has them up for sale already so you can see them there (although even looks a bit silver there).

Im loving the white dial with blue numbers. Add a nice Croc strap and you're all set.
I hope they release a rose gold case with white dial and gold numbers on a brown strap.

Not too shabby I'd say. In the very least the balance wheel position is correct, subdials are correct, working PR and non recessed dw. I couldn't ask more.

Ok, my first observations for YL fac:
- blue dial is fantasy (because laureus has white subdials and closed CB)
- they pretty much nailed the blue index version
- they failed with golden markers (too rose gold)
- dont like railroads and numbering on the subdials - rep is a bit too bold

My thoughts - let's wait for ZF

Anyway I'm super happy it's happening!

That's the point! We're waiting such a long time for a rep of the 5001 with perfect subdial positions, working PR and non-recessed dw. The rest doesn't bother me much. I'll wear this watch so nobody will see the open case. And TBH: an (most) AD can spot it immediately as rep movement - the rest of mankind not, even not every 5001 gen owner...

The blue hands look too blue, correct observations ... blued hands are done on steel with heating. These hands and numbers look colored and not "blued".

Does this one have PR working, 5 days?

Anyway, I like the white/gold combo and I ask myself what will be improoved, better with the October version by ZF???
