I think they'll have a hard time thinning down an adequate movement for this one, but I would love that too !

In the video, it seems that the man suggest to wait PPF V2.. because of some little flaws on the markers, for the bezel and for the crown. So I think I'll wait...

But I have a question for you guys.. have you noticed that all PPF movements does not include a screw?? on the plate? What is the reason?

ZF aquanaut also doesn't have it. I'll probably glue a screw head in the hole, if I can find a suitable one...

Got mine today, overall the best Nautilus Rep I ever got. OK, flaws as already mentioned but this doesn't really hurt me. Only little thing what I don't like is that date will start to change at approx 11 pm, would prefer a rapid change at 12 pm. But my thumbs up for this PPF

the rep is 14mm thick and the gen is 8.5 if I read correctly. would be nice to have close to gen thickness as a start and then work on slimming down the movement or even better clone one but the price for the rep will also increase and I cant justify a rep if they price it around 800 usd

On another note, take a look at both PPF’s below. Mine on the left from Ryan recently, and my brother’s on the right from Angus about a month or two ago.

Notice the print on the dial is bolder as well as the date from Ryan’s(more recent purchase):

There’s a difference in the calatrava stamp on the clasp as well, I’ll take a picture tonight when I get home. Ryan’s was a lighter stamp and Angus’ had a more prominent and darker stamp.

Not that I noticed, but then again I wasn’t really looking. I’ll try to snap pics tonight.

Maybe they got better with time, but it seems the factory was also more accurate with the 12 with your watch, on your brothers watch the II is a bit misaligned,

In some cases, people who owns PF Nautilus will say that PF is better because they are bitter that something came up that is better - I’ve seen this kind of stuff on RWI many times over the years.

People spent extra money on mods like DW or crystal than PPF gets released. They don’t want to admit ppf is better. They will complain about bezel,color of dial, or crown. The thing with ppf is it looks and feel in touch much-much better than PF. PF doesn’t look as refined as ppf, construction of PF is pretty poor.

If I had PF I’d sell it take a $ hit and buy PPF.
sone people may be perfectly happy with PF and that’s fine but when they say PF is better than ppf, it’s pure bullshit.

How about the crown on the photo it seems shorter, maybe they sent you the gen by mistake jajajajajaja in all seriousness yours looks awesome, mine looks more like your brothers congratulations!
