Finished the dismantling of the new movement P.9001

Waiting for the final complete review, see below some pics and comments:

- Overall finish and quality of the movement parts are really good. In the best level of the rep movements.
- Some parts come from A7750, but most of the parts are custom made
- We can call this Movement as “Clone”, since many parts are custom made and the overall external layout looks like P.9001. But it actually is a custom made movement visually similar to gen P.9001.
- Of course, escapement wheel is real and completely working like a P.9001
- GMT device are over the average in reps. But always with GMT 24 hrs
- Rotor bearing is high quality and three screws of fixation are real
- Good system of gaskets to get waterproofing. We will make test
- The upper bridge is just decorated by a thin plate (you can see it on the pics) to get the P.9001 appearance, but it is not a decorative plate to hide the movement
- The functions of the crown are like a conventional movement, different from gen P.9001 functions
- Non-working PR indicator
- A bit dry oiling of the parts involved.
- Nice results on Timegrapher

As a summary: it is a visually accurate rep movement, very nicely manufactured, with good technical solutions and high quality parts. A promising rep movement that if it finally is reliable, as the quality of the parts are auguring, will be a future must for P.9000 and P.9001 reps.

This teardown has been kindly made by the watchsmith Manuel Vizcaino, owner of Replicantres workshop, one of the best european watchsmiths, working on gen and reps.

It's not really surprising as the PAM312 would have been my first watch to use the new visually correct P.9000 movement. It's one of the most versatile PAMs using the P.9000. Now it's all a matter of using these on the other display back PAMs (as it makes no sense to use these on closed caseback models unless you bring down the price). I hear the PAM359 is the next model (stainless like the 312 with a dirty dial like the 441) to receive it. I am eager to see this on the PAM382, PAM507 (with the correct mid-case this time) and so many others. Good start to the year.

I am not knowledgeable for other models but for PAMs although this is a significant development, it had already been preceded by the manual wind A6497 found on the PAM111, and then the Superclone P.3000. It is the first AUTO movement, although not even sure it qualifies as a superclone because it has the unenviable task of cloning not only the aesthetics of the movement (done), plus the performance (done) but also the functions (12-hr GMT - not done, P.9000 specific functions - not done).

A good potential side effect of this is like with anything that's updated, the older version becomes more affordable. Even for the current asking price, the PAM359/312 etc are pretty good value for the money. To be able to sell the new watches, the factories might hold a sale on the old P.9000 based models in order to push the new stock later. And there are those who would be perfectly fine with inaccuracies on the movement which is almost never seen. Good match.

The dealer's name is clearly indicated on the photos and what has been pointed out, not a TD here. You can most certainly ask the TDs for the PAM312 from VSF with the new P.9000 movement. If one dealer has it (and it does not look like they have exclusivity), you can bet the others will be posting it soon on their websites.

@ALE7575 haha only time will tell on the reliability, it's still too early to tell but looks promising. The PAM312 by VSF seems to be coming soon too but I am happy with my PAM312 by V6F/KW lol.

Here is the actual price from the dealer where the photo came from. It's 328$, so the TDs pricing should be around that.
