New Overseas from JJF with (finally!) rubber straps!

This watch is what brought me to RWI. I ordered an older version a month ago, but it was huge and thick and came with a alligator strap. Saw this one and ordered and received, my complaint as others have stated, strap is too small I'm about a 7 1/2" wrist. Are there any after market options? And yes, so notice it was very loud when winding. Any suggestions are welcome.

I would try either Jacob straps or Smp_lover on here.
Of course, those will not be rubber...

Mine arrived today. Nice watch, great build quality, shame the strap is a bit on the small side.

Guys, is it a problem that all watches come on the same serial number? Or isn't the number on the caseback the serial? For what I understand, a usual practice of rep makers nowadays is to engrave random serials on their watches.

Furthermore, have you noticed any inconsistencies in the lume? The one on Chazing's website appears blue-ish, while on Intime and TW its on the green side. Plus the white TW seems very bright, whereas the ones on the websites are very faint. :/

Only if you are trying to sell it as a gen. It's such a little known watch that honestly nobody is going to even know the flaws let alone remember the genetic serial number unless they do a shit load of research and even then it's difficult to find.

On the lume, if it concerns you ask for a lume pic in your QC.

Finally, I wouldn't get too hung up on website images. All my best watches have come from Sead and I don't think he even has one.

By the looks of things it's a great rep....go for it, way better than the old vco

Yep, this one is for the skinny wrist club. I have a large wrist, over 7 inches and I have the strap in the second to last hole. It works okay, not too tight.
Lume on the dial markers is not great, the hands glow like a torch. Will post a photo later.

Think I would be weak! This beauty will surely be my next. With black dial, a good alternative to my AP 15400 with silver dial.
I have long wait for a good rep of the overseas.

The strap is plenty wearable for 7 1/4" wrist it's just not gonna hit your last keeper completely, which you can ultimately remove if you don't want it on there. I also noticed if you pull back on the strap (away from caseback) it will pull the rubber out a bit and make the angle that it sits much more comfortable.

I also should state that they really nailed the dial texture on this model, it is SO much better than the previous reps. It has such an incredibly crisp and gen like look to it. I haven't seen the white dial in person but the black dial really is spectacular.

CHRIS9 - Can you show us a few wrist shots of your new White Faced VC? I am loving the look of it and thinking about pulling the trigger this week.. I don't think I can wait for a bracelet version to come, thinking I will just buy the bracelet if or whenever they produce one.

I ordered it before i read about the short strap... I have 19cm wrists (7,5 inches). maybe it still works out^^ otherwise i´ll send it to smplover. but it really warms my heart that the caseback looks so good, because of many previous comments i thought they screwed it up and your pictures finally make it clear that the caseback actually looks quite nice! thank you @chris9

19cm i think it will be a bit too short.
I have a wrist between 17.5 and 18 and it's ok but i think that above 18 it will be too small.

It'll fit a 7.5" wrist on the last hole.. But you'll want a longer strap ultimately.
