I don't know if any of these straps might be a good combo:

but I can vouch for their extraordinary quality. Jean Paul Menicucci is also the maker of straps that are sold on Hodinkee under their brand. They're very pliable and the leather quality is outstanding. Watchobsession has discount codes every now and then, I bought a strap from them about 2 years ago at a 20% discount.

Another great option are Colareb straps.

This combo looks really great, but I personally feel that a leather strap has no place on a diver's watch. Plus they tend to stink as f#&k in the summer.

Thanks Therion666, very useful. I'm new to the Omega forum and have for years been collecting Panerai, which has been putting dive watches on leather straps for ever. I've never had a leathe strap smell, but I live in London and it's rarely that hot ????

Probably just a rotten apple. That's why there are QC pics for buyers to go through.

No such issues you mentioned above with mine as you can see. Almost 2 weeks now since i received it. Loving it more and more each time I wear it.

Let’s not forget though gen bezels are pressure fit and are not glued. Rep aluminium bezels have always been glued in so one coming loose isn’t inconceivable (I’ve had several of my v5 42mm PO and Upo bezel inserts drop out!) so rather than discount it we should duly note it so members can check these areas on their own QC pics and request images from different angles to ensure it’s seated properly and flush to the bezel.

It depends on a few things,

the dealer having any stock.

Factory having stock

How busy the dealer is.

Finally had a chance to unbox the watch and it's better than I expected!

Here are a couple of late night shots and a closeup of the dial.

No color correction in these. Aside from cropping, these are straight out of my camera. The bezel and dial are definitely a nice dark brown.

If I didn't know better, I'd say that is a gen... Nice photos! Like I said in my previous post, the rep is incredibly gen-like!
