Respectfully, this is not an accurate representation of how the watch changes under warm lights. Photo filters work by applying a global transformation of a given color intensity to all pixels on the image. Reddening/warming the image doesn't reflect a fundamental difference in light reflection/absorption of the dial patina, it just shifts all pixels towards a warmer hue. It would be like saying this Grand Seiko (ice blue dial) has brownish/orange hues under warm light.
At any rate, based on photos so far I remain unconvinced that they changed the dial; it still looks fairly dark with hints of brown in brighter light, but that's exactly the same reaction I get with the V1 and it essentially looks the same to me. I may end up caving in the future and buying a V2, so time will tell
. If I do ever have both, I would be happy to take some photos of them side to side.
