As far as I know its a 21mm lug width but i'm going to wait and measure it when it arrives, also ordered a Spectre v2 which has a 21mm lug width..... sooooo maybe that bracelet will fit!

SMP are all 20mm lug width including this NTTD SMP. The Spectre Seamaster 300 is with the odd lug width of 21mm. Don't confuse the Seamaster 300 with the SMP. So a 21mm steel bracelet won't fit the 20mm lugs of the SMP.

The lug widths are also stated clearly at the product page at the Omega website.

So I think i'm about to bite the bullet. Trusty Time seems to be what's the reliable source in this thread; any reason why I should avoid paying with credit card? I see most guys paying with Bitcoin or a wire transfer of some kind. Is that just because of the small discount you get with paying that way? I would rather pay with Paypal because I use it all the time and funds are currently sitting in there, but i've read for a first time transaction that may not be possible. Any input there appreciated.

I'm quoting this from a response I made in a reddit thread a while back:

I'm sure that opinion will get hated on, but I agree [about using credit cards to make rep purchases]. It may be a huge pain in the dick if your card number gets stolen and used (and it seems that's the primary worry), but this is expressly why there are such strict protections in place for credit cards in the first place. As long as you have a reputable bank or credit union, they will halt and reverse any unauthorized charges if you catch them. You have the ability to chargeback if you get bamboozled. I literally have a credit card I expressly use for watch transactions and nothing else. It's just nice to have an isolated system to purchase stuff; I've bought four or five watches on it so far and haven't gotten it stolen yet (fingers crossed), and it's already come in handy once when I needed to threaten a chargeback on one of the watches that wound up never shipping. They were quick to issue the refund.

Bitcoin is nice to have the discount but honestly, have you considered that you're getting essentially a 95% discount on the actual cost of the watch you're getting? If that price factor is considered, it doesn't seem worth it to me to get an extra 40 or 50 bucks off the cost in exchange for a total loss if you get screwed. I don't think PureTime is actively out to scam people, but when a transaction goes tits up they have little incentive to actually rectify the situation and continue to put effort into making it right, so the end result is essentially the same.

I usually pay by credit card at Trusty site and never had an issue with him.

Just be sure he has stock and pull the trigger

Right on, the answer i'm looking for.

I was originally planning on going with Puretime until I saw a couple transactions with TT in this thread.

I don't owe anything on the CC i'd be using so i'd be quick to resolve any issue if there were one, as i'd be keeping an eye on it. I've had my info stolen twice in the past and it was always taken care of and was recognized by my bank almost immediately before I would've checked it regularly. Honestly not too worried about it as long as others have had success in the past.

You will have a poor exchange rate and maybe a currency fee. Most sellers won let you use PayPal until you have purchased a few items due to chargebacks.
Use coinbase and get a good exchange and 5% discount for bitcoin. If you have issue RWI will help so no gamble :)

Ok... Honestly. A credit card is like a coupon code you give to someone and tell him to be honest on how much he will take from you. Any other opinions? It's just like it works.

You can trust your recipient 100%, but if someone in between both transaction points uses your data (called "man in the middle"), you are screwed. Your CC is insured... Until you do something wrong yourself... that's always what you do.

So, do what is you thing is right. But maybe it's a thing of luck.

Just my 5 cents. I always use transfer or pp.

(I have a CC for hotel bookings. Shame on me.)

Best regards

One can always create temporary credit card numbers for specific use with just the amount needed. I do this whenever PayPal is not possible.
Going back to the topic I love this watch but am currently waiting for the blue sedna gold vsf seamster from Andew. Very happy with the service , totally recommend him.

Out of interest when someone get V2 in titanium would you mind popping it on a scales to see what weight of the watch is minus any strap. Just interested as reviews of the real one say it feels very light. Thanks
