Just cancelled my order with Trusty Time - it seems there’s stock/availability issues with ORF as well now.
Will wait for a bit then reorder probably, Andrew was a top man and refunded promptly.

Great, whoever makes reasonably good reps will face problems.
Is there still a future for this rep game?

I was speaking to someone on Sunday who owns a shop, and a massive collector of Omega going back to the Apollo watch which went to the moon, 60k that is worth now, doubled its price in the last 30 years. Was put in touch with this gentleman when I went to the Omega showroom in London. He told me that he brought some of the most expensive reps and compared it to the genuine models he said in a few instances the lines were more clear on the reps and the numbers better shaped. they are so good now they are better then the genuine article, and that Omega Rolex etc used their clout to get the factories shut down. I said the opposite a few weeks back but I was 100% wrong, also he told me that 3 years back now, someone come into his shop to get a Rolex serviced had the cards receipt and it was only when the back was opened up, that he saw it was a fake, the weight everything was spot on. told the bloke who did not believe it, only when it was sent to Rolex and they showed him the difference that he realized he had been conned out of thousands, he brought the watch in Hong Kong. then tried to blame Rolex for the fake, which very much Pissed off Rolex as their brand was being hurt, its taken 3 years cause of Covid. but now he told me they want them all gone and with this "iworld wide Covid hearing" that part of the world is not very popular so it's a lot easier to oil the wheels "as he said"

Has anyone ordered an ORF Omega NTTD watch lately and had it delivered? I have an order with a TD (not With TT) that I placed on Saturday and paid for.

Guys, I just found this piece from a trusted person of mine, and he said is not VSF due to the plant raid.

Can you guess what's the factory behind? I don't have idea it has a "R" tag in the bracelet but could not identify. By the photos only it seems a very good product.

Is that a stainless steel case?

I don't have idea! I don't have specifications neither other info except the watch. He guaranteed me that the watch is what you see in the photo
The quality for me is the same looking in general! I don't see differences from VSF for example!
See more photos below.

I just got my ORF NTTD yesterday and I want to preface this post by saying that I am not trying denigrate ORF or my TD. I am just being honest with my experience.
In the recent past I have only bought VSF watches, but I missed the boat on the NTTD and decided to take the plunged with ORF. I have a VSF Omega Seamaster 300 Grey Face that is perfect and I love it and I wanted the NTTD. VSF spoiled me because the ORF NTTD I just got let me down form what I'm used to. From the pics you can see the studs on the bracelet have been wedged in place without precision, leaving marks. The bezel is very slightly misaligned and nobody will notice it by glancing at the watch but I see it. Turning the bezel is rough, to say the least. It was a task just to get it back to the 12 marker. The movement of the watch is good so far and all the printing and markings look good. The case looks great and I dig the titanium look and feel.

Overall the watch is beautiful and I'm still going to wear it (on a strap), but I feel that ORF either rushed this build to keep up with demand or they are really short staffed because the quality and feel of a VSF isn't there but VSF is sadly gone.

That’s inaccurate, you can buy it on Aliexpress it’s a titanium steel that looks exactly like gen with the added serial numbers. I believe it’s what was used on the V4 if not better.

The original has a raised omega symbol, all the reps I've seen have it engraved

Nroh777 thanks for sharing.

So the crap bracelet aside (many people prefer the nato anyway) and the misalignment issue aside (QC problem), what do you think of the dial, crystal and bezel insert in terms of overall look and feel?

Do they look high quality ? Or clearly inferior compared to typical vsf omega reps?

Watch looks awesome in pics.

Is there any AR applied to the crystal? Or does it look cloudy?

Thanks

The components do look and feel like high quality and maybe I'm nitpicking with the bezel misalign and turning, but like most of us here, I am obsessive about these things. Reading through 333 pages of this thread I was apprehensive of the markers being too perfect and not gen like, but they look pretty darn good to me. Outside in the sun the watch gleams. I don't feel like the crystal is too cloudy (AR) but it was designed by Omega that way for a vintage effect and I like the way the dome of the glass obscures the markers at different angles. I haven't seen a VSF NTTD crystal but I'm happy with the ORF. Hope this helps

Didn’t get a time frame…was waiting two and a half weeks, I get the impression that there isn’t a date for when it’ll be resolved.

Quick update. I ordered the ORF from Trusty on Sept 24. Got an email from him today saying that ORF is sold out the current batch, and a new batch is being produced. So back to waiting lol
