Agree with what some here has said. The differences are very subtle between various versions that in person, no one would come to you and say hey thats a fake or hey, nice VSF V2... LOL. Mine is the V2, if you see the differences then good for you, because I do too and it has never bothered me. Honestly though, its barely noticeable in the flesh and it just looks really good either way. The way the brown accents of the bezel and dial hits the light, just a beauty. And putting it on the V3 mesh = Perfect.

I've had mine for over a year and still loving it :D

To be honest on here I have now read 315 pages about this watch, if i saw a V1, V2, V3, V4 on someone's arm, I would not have a clue if it was a genuine or a rep. for me it's only when you wear the genuine with how crazy light it is, would you really know. Usually Omega's are heavy. I have studied pics on here have blown them up, and still can't see the differences. I am lucky in my time of life that I can afford a few Genuine watches, but I want them to be a investment also, like the Planet Ocean Casino Royale picked that up 9 years back for 2k now worth more then 4k. and that was from a shop, who have now totally changed their pricing set-up, and are asking crazy prices for some watches. will this watch hold it's value? I think the 1st edition (the film version will) also with a rep I would want the film version. Anyway 2 Full days left till Bond day. So PLEASE Folks, that's be very careful of spoilers as I spotted one last night at the Premiere, a big one. be interesting to see if i am right :)

That is curiously part of why I buy reps. I do not yet have enough income to buy gens on this price range, and if I did, it would be mostly an investment and I would be scared shitless to actually use them. What if I drop it? If I bang my wrist on a door frame? Or if I scratch it when reaching into a drawer? How many hundreds (or thousands) of € would that mistake cost me? I certainly would not take a gen to the beach, or the club. So if I had the doe to buy a gen, I would keep it in a safe, handle it with white cotton gloves, and rock it's rep. Here is one example:
This watch was born to be on a NATO, but I sure as hell would not do this with a 140k piece. Every hairline scratch from the springbar tool would be money out the window. For me, gens are an investment, reps are for fun.

So my father in law just came over to show off his new watch. Traded his Gen dssd for this Gen and its a beauty. He's a huge bond fan so am I. And we going to see the movie on Sat. He'll of course will wear his Gen NTTD, and I'll wear my Gen DJ. Anyways so I am looking into getting the best rep watch. Which version is the best available? Appreciate any help. I tried searching for a comparison but couldn't find any. if need be i can get some pics soon. but was hoping somebody already did a rep vs Gen.

Best one is still vsf, there is legit a lot of gen vs rep comparison on this thread. Use the search function on top to find them, vsf is currently closed so the best second best option would be the orf although it has a lot of flaws but for me you can live with them

You be the judge and see for yourself. It looks fine to me especially when seen in person and when its around my wrist.

Ok, first thanks for your reply. And about the thread, I am on phone. So ill read more thoroughly on laptop tomorrow. Also, i was looking at trustytime, I saw they offer triangle shipping to Germany. So might do that. I see the v4 but im guessing that its out of stock, due to obvious reasons. If so ill just wait on a m2m. I will do a bit more in depth research. I do have a few wrist shots from today so I have those too. can't wait for the film.

Does the color of the bracelet matches with the Ti case?

If you like inspecting/admiring your watch closely in the hands, then you’ll notice the colour difference in the real world (it’s not really about whether others can spot it on your wrist - that’s not what I’m worried about).

The colour difference is a little distracting to be fair - I find that the difference is more stark in real life compared to pics but I still love the watch, you just have to decide for yourself whether the issue is too distracting for your eyes.

That red Santa clause tux ain’t doing him any favours - he looks kinda bloated in it. Is Tom ford still dressing him?

Since the VSF version of NTTD is no longer available, I guess ORF would he the next contender for the best.
Though read that ORF has lots of flaws, what are these flaws actually?

Hahaha Santa Claus that’s funny

you don't get it, he was at the Premiere not as James Bond, but as Daniel Craig, it's like that stupid question he was asked "are you like James Bond at home" I mean wtf, Bond is done for him now, no more tux. one thing i was surprised about, I thought he would be wearing the watch he helped design and I would think made a pretty penny from the sales, maybe it was his idea to not do a SE, more money for him :)

^Just buy Orf. Quality looks good. No other options. Not like anyone (including you and me) will know why it’s “wrong”

As a big fan of 007 I say Craig was the best modern James Bond, of all the others only Connery overcame him, imho.
For me it will be difficult to see another in his place, especially a woman would not be adequate,

imagine "My name is Bond.... Jacqueline Bond" :lmao:

I just came back from watching the movie at IMAX. 8 out of 10 rating for me. Worth the wait? Yes it was!

James Bond will return, that's all I have to say without spoiling it for everyone. Received a nice freebie from watching it as well... Some sort of fan art poster of Vesper and Le Chiffre.. Really nice.
