Agreed! I’m not desperate for a Ti mesh as I much prefer the nato but if it’s purchasable on its own I’ll pull the trigger
I haven’t tried mine on it’s NATO yet, the hardware appears to be made from Ti and the quality looks really good. Yeah I imagine most people would happily pick up a revised bracelet if the price was right, also no customs risk when just importing a watch strap.
With so much interest in getting the case and braclet color to match. I wonder if there is a coating or chemical treatment process that can darken the color of the SS bracelet to mimic the color of Ti.
Than again I ask myself if there was such a process wouldn't the Rep factories invest in it already and offer the same in V4 of the watch.
I’m sure there will be something, it might just be down to difficulty of the process or cost as to why it hasn’t been explored by the factories. Does anyone know what the issue is with making a Ti version of the bracelet, is it down to material costs that they aren’t doing it, or is it more around the machining and construction of the bracelet itself (is Ti difficult to work with?).
Oh thats really interesting, because the pictures make the colours look very different. Might just have to pull the trigger on the V4 if its not an issue on the wrist.
I guess it’s weighing up how much it will bother you (as you’ll notice the difference as it’s an area you are focused on - it will be the first thing you check ootb lol!). Also we don’t know if a a Ti bracelet is even in the works or if it will ever be so it’s factoring that in too. For me “close enough” was good enough to make a purchase (my wrist is slim (17cm) so I can’t see a lot of the bracelet when looking head-on at the case which makes it less obvious, your mileage may vary if you’ve got a larger wrist and more bracelet is in view).
