I'm asking for the noob daytona 116520 black dial with superclone 4130 mvt. The subdials in the V1 are too fat. Does the dial on V2 looks better? Did somebody get QC Pics ?

Noob seems to use the exact same dials for black 116500 and 116520. Which means yes, they probably will have a new black dial with thinner subdials for a “V2 116520 Black” but the ROLEX font and words underneath will be in the same format as the 116500 version ; more scrunched up and quite an easy tell even on the wrist, IMHO.

All of this just came in.
- Noob SA 4130 V2
- Gen Dial + Gen hands Mint condition
- Already had the Old Daytona Faux Chrono, case seems better IMO just Need to ask the modder if the 4130 will fit in, if Not will have to rework the case also..
Gen bezel + Crystal already on the way

About September of 2018 the Noob Daytonas were changed from a 316L case to a 904L case.
At this same time the Dealers changed their listings for all Noob Daytonas from V1 to V2 and the price increased by $100.

The improvements to the dials and to the quality in February 2019 are not being called a new version by the Dealers, just an "Updated Dial."

Again... the Dealers changed their listings for all Noob Daytonas from V1 to V2 and the price increased by $100 about September 2018.

Noob did use the same dials for the Black 116500 and 116520 for both the V1 316L and V2 904L cases.

Noob updated the Black dial for the Black Ceramic 116500 in February 2019 but no changes have been made to the 116520 SS Bezel Noobs yet.

Noob may correct the Rolex Font and the size of the Black Sub-dials when they build their next batch of 116520s, but no body knows yet.
Also the 116520 SS Black Sub-dials should be shinier than the Black Ceramic 116500.

The White 116520 SS dial is correct other than the Rolex Font. The Font is a correct Rolex Font, but it is from the 116500 dial.
Both Noob 116520 SS dials should have a wider Rolex Font.

The sherif “R” shape on the bezel is the one of the main flaws that can be recognized easily.

Is it an intended flaw by noob?

If you know it's there, it's visible.

I got my ARF white dial today, it's amazing. The indices glisten in the way the noob doesn't. It's so gen like, not perfect but really good.

The noob is ok but it just looks like a decent rep to me.

Now to get the dial and bezel installed!

II don't know how many times I have to say this til people listen to me.

There are four gen dial variations for the 116500. Only two are really visible for people who don't eat modafinil all day and procrastinate when they have work and assignments to do :D

V1 - 2016 - Skinny O in ROLEX, skinny subdials. Serif in R

AS5kd.jpg

V2 - 2017 - Fat O in ROLEX, skinny subdials, no serif in R

ATE1g.jpg

V3 - 2018 - Fat O in ROLEX, fatter subdials, Serif in R

ATcoh.jpg

V4 - 2019 - Fat O in ROLEX, skinnier subdials than 2018 but fatter than 2017, no serif in R

ATQms.jpg

Both ARF and Noob based their design on the 2018 version, so the slightly fatter subdials is a NON-ISSUE on the v2.

Where noob fucked up is they based their dial on the ROLEX catalogue NOT the actual watch itself. Therefore you see a disproportionate spacing between the O and R & L in ROLEX

AF9ur.jpg

Basically, they copied a book.

None of the dials are perfect. ARF put the numerals too high in the subdial but only marginally. It is a VERY good copy of 2018 116500LN, perfectly passable
When I first saw noob I thought OMG what the hell have they done. But actually it's not the worst attempt given they probably copied 2016 and the 2017/2018 catalogue.

Noob O is not as such wrong, it just looks weird and is fantasy because it takes elements of different variations.

I stand by the conclusion that the dial, for best effect, should be ARF.

Also, I won't repeat for white, but bear in mind 2018 was slightly less bright white and more creamy. Marginally. So no need for waxing treatments etc because ARF is copying the 2018 dial.

For 116500 bezel, just get hold of the ARF however you can. The noob is wrong. I held both and the gen in my hand. The ARF is a shade too glossy but the noob is very cheap looking, the engravings are too shallow, and the S in units is totally wrong.

NOW GIVE ME SOME REP POINTS MOFOS ;)

Beautiful

If you wanted the most accurate black dial, which would you get?
