I really wish you would keep your replies together instead of spamming the thread with multiple posts.
You quote one thing and refer to something else. However, I bow in the dust for your expertise. You are clearly the expert here with your 30+ Rolex rep collection and constant trips to your personal dealer in Beijing where you get to hold and compare multiple noob v2 watches as well as lots of ARF watches as well as better looking $200 watches and compare them against each other and do statistical analysis.
I'm gonna let this go now. Have a nice day.
I get where you're coming from, I'll mediate here and say that you're both right and entitled to your opinions. I don't think he was deliberately trying to rub you up the wrong way and appear the 'expert' Earlier, now cheaper, 116520's to be honest did have better dials than the current noob one, I think that was what he was referring to, rather than the watch being 'better looking generally' The BP, for example, has a far better dial than the newest noob.
Most of us don't have the luxury of trips to China and developing relationships with personal dealers. We've seen before instances where this is possible, and I know from my own experience that accessibility to supposedly prohibited items in China is, whilst not straightforward or cost-effective, possible (for investigative reasons, and not watches!)
However for those of us that can't dedicate the time that's where we rely on the TD's to offer a service that not only does this for us - ie filters out the dross, but does so economically. Having used Tony, Toro, Sead, Mary, Mr Timezone and Precious Time over the years, I honestly believe they all fulfil this requirement and any rare mistakes have been genuine oversights rather than deliberate attempts to chuck rubbish at us. After all, they wouldn't use QC photos if that was their objective.
