Today I received mine with gray dial. I have also been disappointed that we have been fooled with the movement, but on the other hand I am happy that all the functions are operational, except the fast date pass button, which in turn is changed in the second position of the crown.
The movement's rotor is a bit noisy and vibrates a bit, but I'm used to that by now. It's also quite uncomfortable to wind it manually - the crown is small goes a bit stiff.
I liked the finish although the color of the font on the strap is not as intense as the scale on the bezel and the hands, but overall it is a beautiful watch!!

Blackcalf can you measure the lug width please? Is it 19mm as per gen?

I would like the all black one on bracelet but a 19mm rep bracelet is hard to find.

Beautiful watch. Hmm, I have a Dan Henry 19mm beads of rice bracelet that's very comfortable and would go nicely with this... I can feel my wallet tensing up in horror

Speedmaster pro and this this speedmaster racing use different movements.

The spacing on the pro is even closer to the center pinion whereas this version is just a modified Valjoux 7753.

Would be great to see a speedmaster pro rep finally but I doubt it.

Either way, great release, have ordered the blue

Do you think the racing movements with the 2 subdials are any good?

Is the date wheel sunken?

Anybody able to share a close up photo for the date aperture?

Seems to always to be a problem with A7750 watches that they have a sunken date wheel when done in a tricompax arrangement?

I would say that it seems sunken as in most of 7750, therefore SUNKEN A LOT :atwitsend:
It makes me think of the Navitimer models which is almost 2mm below dial level..

If that’s a fact, I’m not so sure I’m going to order one.

I could live with it if the date is just a tiny bit sunken, but if it is like the Navitimer reps it’s too much for me to accept.
