NEW (gen) PAM605 - 372 with GREY dial!

Finally we got rewarded... can't wait to see first detailed pictures of the watch, especially the dial.

Now that's dirt cheap..A good opportunitiy to see if you like it and flip it at a minimum loss if you don't.
Thats cheap. Why is Intime selling it so cheap? Is there a major fault/inaccuracy on V6F 605?
Or one could speculate that V6F has an updated version waiting to be rolled out...

It's pretty simple to explain... this watch should cost even less, the inaccuracy Pam605 is representing is equal to PAM587 from same manufacturer. Which cost around 128USD at the moment, and still KW is making a money. Both PAM605 and PAM587 comes from KW and both are kinda inaccurate. (like between mid~high level rep status) but a way away from first class or super rep status. KW to create PAM605 need just the dial, rest parts comes from KW372.
That's a very nice looking strap, it complements the gray dial well. Can you please tell me where it is from?

Just got my KW PAM 605 from Sead today.
Here is my humble opinion about the dial.
Some weeks ago, I had the opportunity to see a Gen 605 and enjoy the incredibly changing colors of the dial under different lightning conditions.
If my memory serves me well, I have to say that the KW dial color is close to Gen.
Sunburst effect looks also really close to Gen. You can see it under some lightning conditions but you cannot see it all the time.
I just have some doubts about the font color of the LP - FIRENZE engravings which looks to be more orange/yellow on the rep.
That said, and not talking about the movement, it is a really nice PAM.

Sorry to come back so lately, but I had some "logistic" troubles, and just received my PAM605 from KW today.
I promise, a complete, and full detailed gen vs rep review will follow in a few days (I'm working on Saturdays & Sunday's).
But I'm really sad to announce that this KW dial is TOTALLY OFF !
- Not at all the right dial color! It's really far from gen.
- Totally wrong engraving! Too creamy yellow compared to gen, not as deep and too wide.
- Already said (regarding these 2 first points, no so important), cut out are a bit bold on gen.
- Sunburst effect is quite ok, but the gen dial is darker, so you see this effect in dark environment too. You can see it on rep only under heavy or natural lightning.
I think the full review will be up on Tuesday, I dont have time before.

I don't think your perception is wrong. Remember the Yacht Master dials back in day? It depended on where you were and the time of year and people still couldn't agree on dial shade, reflection, ect.
Are these new Panerai's sandwich dials? (Probably a noobish question)

A relume will take care of any of colored lume.
True. What matters is the quality and colour of the engravings, and the material basis and finish of the dial surface.
