It is actually really nice unlike most rep straps; if you like assolutamente straps, you won't be disappointed.

Interesting..The rep strap on my V6 372 is really poor,that's why I asked. I hate the looks of the movement,dunno why they use the blue screws,but I love the color scheme of the dial and I'm afraid I'm gonna have to pull the trigger..I'm doomed

We have one RWI member that has a gen and an another who will be picking his up soon (they are only sold through the Firenze/Florence boutique). Hopefully one of them will be kind enough to compare rep to gen.

I agree I wish they would release the SC version I love the dial but the movement looks crappy and fake

So call to ZF to develop an agreement between ZF & KW regarding technology exchange. Otherwise You can forget about such options. KW don't have an access to this movement at all...
the only option is to find third producer who can make this watch just having collected parts, such as Noob, PureTime, MK Maker.

Only for optical reasons.

SC movement has over 100 hrs power reserve. This movement only has 40hrs. Its not only cosmetic but also functional.

That's no reason to call the A6497 "crap".

I really don't care about SC movement (a rep is a rep and always will) but I do care about reliability and aesthetics on my wrist. So A6497 it's the way to go

^ Well everyone has their opinions and whats more important. SC movement has been very reliable for me and also many many other members. Regarding servicing I'm not sure because I dont wear it everyday so it wont hopefully need a service for years to come and its been reliable thus far.

At least aesthetically it looks 10000x times better than the 6497. I know its a workhorse movement and I have like 20 watches with this movement. Each to their own - if your happy with this version buy it. simple

605 with sc movement would be much more expensive, than the KW with A6497 - isn't it?
