^ They will be almost identical weight. I have weighed rep vs real 312 and it was 1gram off. I have also weighed my 088 vs my friends real 088 and it was like 1.2grams off. Head only.

Weight will not be a problem.

With SS watches weight is never a problem. When you buy gold watches thats when the weight difference is noticeable.

Thanks for your sharing!
Good to know that weight is similar, that makes me think about getting a rep.

Evora, i thought you mentioned there was going to be a Hfac version as well...or has that been cancelled?
The KW looks good in the pics but the movement is still a dead giveaway...

Not only movement. Brushed lines are deeper and more visible on gen dial, also the inscriptions are yellowish comparing to gen.

Have you ever had a GEN pam? If so you should be able to understand what Im saying.
As a PAM lover I think that weigth is very important, I like heavy watches and if I wear one light watch I feel that Im wearing something cheap and without quality.
I know that for 99% it doesnt matter but for me it does.

Well... it seems you are a complete noob, no offense but you should start with buying some reps then you will come up with proper requests...

The point I made was about courteasy, I reckon you missed it...

Np I already got the answer
And to finish this, whats the problem about the weight? For me is more important then if the dial is a litle bit off color etc...
Ah and weighting a watch isnt that hard, is it? So i guess that my request was pretty legit, and I see who's the noob here. Start to buy some gens then come with proper requests

RWI is a very friendly and welcoming forum, however your pathetic behavior is not tolerated: Arguing and starting troubles with members who are supporting this place while you are a newbie and are here for free is a big NO-NO, you obviously lack manners and have 0 credibility.

I have reported you. See you in the brig Troll...

Totally uncalled for...
Such behaviour is not part of sharing in this Forum!

Sir, I think you're on the wrong forum. Fire007 is NOT a noob. Look at his post count, read the VIP banner above the pic of the hot lady. Don't get sassy with these guys. You're too new and simply don't know your stuff yet (otherwise you would know that the weight of PAM reps is usually more or less bang on. You could have known that by doing your research in the countless related articles on this forum). This forum is for people who love, collect, and cherish REPs. I think you should go on watchuseek or one of those forums if you're going throw GENs in people's faces. Truthfully, no one here gives a rats ass about your GENs, and using them to condescend people will get your ass kicked out of town.

Furthermore, I'm a firm believer in "There are no stupid questions." That said, I must concede, your question was stupid. Here's why:
If you are in fact an owner of GEN pams, you would probably be more concerned about the dial (which you claim not to be.) If the dial is off, you'll get called out in a second by your GEN friends. Generally speaking, no one is going to take the damn thing off your wrist and put it on a scale. Secondly, if you know your GEN watches (because you say you've held them a bunch of times), than you know your materials. That watch in the photos is stainless steel. Not convinced, read the damn forum and see what ZF, Noob, V6F make their replacas out of. You'll see they use the same metals as gen (excluding pricier materials like gold etc). Stainless steel and titanium pam reps are more or less same as gen because the case is built from the same stuff. The only thing that will alter the weight is what's inside it, but the difference is usually negligible.

Point is, if you've ever owned a PAM rep you would no what to expect and not have to waste Ev's time and everyone else's with blatant noob questions.

Arrived early this AM. Some quick scans to show everyone the dial, overcast morning, to me the sunburst is evident at certain angles, there isn't any brushed lines on the dial even at various angles, it looks more amazing indoors, more scans in the sun soon. Leave it to the experts here to chime in.

Wrist shots. The strap is pretty good.

Looks pretty damn good, however its a shame that its has no brush line on the dial. May be even Gen can only see with some harsh lighting? Evora can prolly answer this question as he has a sweet gen on his wrist :)

I'm impressed by the dial they have done. They have pretty much nailed it from the looks of it but one thing they have probably not done was that Antrachite dials need to be brushed more than the average silvery color dial. The gen 605 has a brushed / satin finish like all antrachite dials do. This one tends to miss it. And most importantly, I have spoken to the Maker and he said they won't be adding a sapphire glass version due to cost saving which I think is a bummer because plexi tends to scratch and is warmer in color whereas the sapphire is more of a bluish/colder color tones.
