Does anyone knows what the difference is between s3235 movement and vr3235 movement? I saw some sales thread where people sell the watch with s3235 movement

Thanks a lot for sharing! How big difference do you reckon it makes? Total game changer in real life?

Takes it to the next level. Pictures don’t really show how good that AR is.

Just received one of these from a TD and was surprised to see 126300 beneath the lugz. Doesn’t matter to me at all, just wanted to share and see if everyone’s CF 126334 is like this? I have a gen smooth bezel for this so the 126300 engraving actually works out great lol

Also, there was a small sticker with “E” on the back which I have not seen before..

The new case design with the bezel protruding out is interesting.

Lug and case back photos are from the silver dial. The black dial is also CF received from a different TD at around the same time. Haven’t taken the bracelet off yet, no “E” sticker.

Are they going to release smooth bezel version? Probably it’s a signal…

Would you say it is worth to get another watch with s3235 instead, if you already have a v1 for frankening gen crystal and dw?

Sorry, but I can not understand all this hype about changing the crystal. Dials with different colors are compared here. Or even pictures with different light conditions or different viewing angles. How is one supposed to form a serious opinion?
I think, as long as you can not compare with a Gen, the same dial color, in the same light and the same viewing angle, the results remain very subjective.

I got a CF DJ 41 V1 with an extra vsf fluted bezel.
Would you say it is worth to put a gen crystal and datewheel on this one or find another base?

no. the CF crystals are trash and have the white gasket around the crystal as direct proof. That is the consensus around here. To fix you need a crystal replacement. Either a prof crystal or gen crystal are thee two best options.

A totalitarian and absolute view on things like, trash or gold, good or bad, left or right doesn't make the evaluation any easier!
By the way, gasket and crystal would be two different things my friend. I was talking about the Crystal. ;)

So far I only know the 1:1 GEN vs Clean comparison pictures of b.bluna with the white DJ41 on Jubilee . And there you can see no real differences in the crystal.

There definitely is a difference between the CF and gen, with the CF having a white border. The problem is that it's hard to tell whether the problem is coming from the gasket or the crystal.

As per Wacht 's post just above, Triplock has shown that the issue was coming from the crystal and not the gasket, but this is true on 126610. No one has shown the same level of details on a CF datejust, mostly because the few who have fixed it did it with a gen crystal that comes along a gen gasket.

So I understand why you'd criticize ab1112 's answer, but in his defense it's just not obvious where the problem is coming from on a CF datejust between the crystal and the gasket

It would probably be better not automatically conclude from the conditions of one model to the conditions of another model without knowing it exactly.
