this link doesnt work for me, but those crystals are a great find. Would love to see an actual photo after installation so we can see the cyclops AR and the LEC quality.

The pic posted is enough to see that ar is shit. As far as lec goes they used a wrong crown, so how can this be any good

the crown is blurred Aliexpress no longer has the right to sell counterfeit. how do you know it's crap?

$50 is much more than what VSF or clean puts on their crystal.

I agree I saw the AR coating being slightly blue but again is minor if you consider the difference in cost but that being said i'm not sure what a gen crystal usually costs and the difficulty of getting it changed in the UK too.

I'm based in the UK. I have PM'ed you. I have just ordered a gen crystal for my CF v2 blue dial and a watchmaker will be installing it. Let me know if you want to chat!. Cheers.

What's the reliability like on one of these VR3235's? Any reports of dead on arrival watches or broken in first weeks of ownership? Is everyone servicing their newly purchased timepieces?

I got myself a gen xtal, but would really like to see compared with the one above… if the xtal was at vsf level I wouldn’t bother, if it’s 44 dollars.

I suppose, but if there are good enough aftermarket alternatives available, I'm not that picky. Say if it was possible to procure these supposed "v2 hands" that have a longer tip, I'd be happy to get them instead of getting another CF DJ or gen hands.

Why don't you buy from any of the trusted dealers and be done with it?
