I saw on reddit that clean will release datejust with new 3235 movement same like vsf

As long as the movement is behind a steel plate and not behind a crystal caseback , I wouldn't care. Personally, I would not wait for a new 3235 to pull trigger. After that there is something new again and you wait again.

Its not about seeing the movement. Its about quality.
in that aspect VS is superior. But agree, the VR is not bad either. Expect a price increase with the future movement upgrade.

I'm planning to do a gen xtal when my CF silver dial arrives. I seen 2 different part numbers for the gen xtal. Can anyone please help me confirm which is correct? Does either or work or is one better than the other?

B25-318-C-V3-C1 or B25-318-C2-C1.

Also any idea where I can find the gen datewheel? I've checked chrono24 and ebay with no luck.

Proper part number for DJ41 12xxxx series is B25-318-C-V4-C1 but recently Rolex changed their parts numbers and now it is called B25-7036-1-C1

I have also used B25-318-C-V3-C1 as well in the past few times with no problem but have not tried B25-318-C2-C1

Hey jiro I seen your post with the image of B25-318-C-V3-C1. Interesting about the parts numbers change.

I already ordered B25-318-C2-C1. Hoping that since it's for the DJ II, it will work. Also seen this used for the some ARF and VSF DJ41 mods. With your experience, what are your thoughts? I'm a newbie and all I know is from here and /RepTime

^^^^The CF dial appears lighter in colour than the gen. Most people on here seem to believe that the CF Rhodium is actually darker than gen.

gen has more contrast and fullness in the shades of color. After 500 € we can't have everything.

I have the gen xtal and dw on the way and contemplating the dial (silver) and hands, but from pictures the CF ones look good.

I was browsing crowns and gen fluted bezel or gold plating too. I don't know if I'm going overboard from excitement and wanted to do everything once or if just the xtal and dw is good enough and use the funds on another rep.

The rep bug has hit me hard lol.

For me, crystal, DW, and crown. I would only do hands if I had a gen dial.
