I had both VSF and Clean v1 side by side in this thread. VSF has slightly better crystal and a movement that would theoritical outlast CF. Other than CF is better or at least as good now with the fixed bezel.

Do we have knowledge about the updated CF dial? Does it have the same saturation as first release? Or just less contrast?

As information from my TD, dial is the same and no updated version. They have a high tolerance in producing process. But v2 is definitely more like gen, with the deep fine sunburst.

Thanks for sharing. Forgive me for not fully understand, the v2 (if we call it this) has "deep", "fine" sunburst. With deep, do you mean more contrast between black and blue?

I have both cf and gen blue dial and there's no need for them to update the dial at all as I often get confused which one is which.

They are stunning as it is. If they change anything to it, it would be a downgrade in my opinion.

And yes, I have seen many different variation of this blue dial from other factories and CF literally knocked it out of the park. Period.

The cf blue DJ dials not all look the same. I have v1 and v2 the v1 has a really shiny sunburst it goes a little in to purple tone in bright light. It light up although if no direct light available. The sunburst on the v2 is finer looks not shiny in no direct light conditions but in light it’s a beautiful deep blue like on v1.

jiro One thing I have been eager to figure out is if the crown position/stem height is accurate on the CF. Can you comment based on your gen and rep experience?

Yes only on the dial color.
I would bet left as Gen, crystal and hands looks better.

He only said it's a gen dial, not a gen watch.

The CF dial looks incredible. Color matches fantastically.

Does the markers/ lume look different to anyone else? I have the CF 114060 and the markers are a slightly off white taupe color.

Hard to tell from these photos but the CF DJ dial looks like the markers are not as white as the gen dial markers. Just an observation.
