Maybe this will help. Starting from left to right.

Left = Post #52 w/ stubby CG without much of a curve from the midcase towards the crown
Middle = OP's post w/ thinner CG with a bit more curvature than the left
Right = Gen w/ thinner CG w/ sharper angle from midcase to crown

I got excited because judging from OP's pic, the CG looked improved.

Sead can get these with the 2813 movement for you at $119 each. I don't really see the point of having a 28K vph movement in a watch that's suppose to beat at 18k to 19k vph depending on ref number. You can put in a 2846 at 21K and be more realistic, I believe there is another eta caliber that is lower beat but you would need to look that up. Here is a chart of actual Rolex bph/vph

Nice! Here's mine using a Silix case with HR 4 liner. I decided against aging it. Now if Athayas stem extender would get here already...

Interesting fact the 5517 is not made by the same factory and thus is not part of what we would call the cartel. The 5517 does not have the improved CGs

I tried to get the Silix case but they have none. No 6538 and No 5513 and no idea when they will.

They're all out of the 6538 case? Bummer... You can beat their price at $45. Needs work but still a good deal.

i was very close to purchasing a HR 6538 given its eta movement and good build quality... its a big shame to vintage it though... it looks spectacular as it is
