Or get the 2813s from sead1999 at supermirrors for $119 , I imagine his price for the ETA clone will be less as well.

I bought the 1680 cartel from sora a year ago and it looks very nice but the lugholes on these are totally wrong. Have to say that the dial (marker at 12) on mine is way better than these "new ones" here.

The Lug hole position is a problem, I change the dials with Yukis eventually, I'm just happy to have big workable CGs instead of those stubby CGs. I have one 5513 getting the 007 MWGG treatment and then the other 5513 will convert to a 5517 as soon as Yuki has some ETA sword hands.

If you need a better case the Yuki case for $650 is nice and the Phong case for $1250 is for the Elite

The cg's are good on these but my lug hole position is totally wrong. I noticed some of these 1680 got better lug holes? Could you upload an pic of yours?

I would definately buy a yuki case but i've read somewhere that his shipping method to europe is not the best and seizure rate is very high?

I am Beginner in Rolex Vintages and decided to start with a 5513 (with 2813 movement) because of the price of 119$.

Afterwards now I am insecure, if it's maybe a mistake, because of the quality of the movement.

What did you guys think?

Most, I afterwards read about the 2813 was issues about reliability, DOA, within some months, impreciseness or eytremly noisy rotor.

First I thought, I will replace it at a watchsmith with a 2836 eta or clone, but as I read now, in that case hands also have to be replaced!?

I have 2 2813s and have no concerns. They are usually robust and the movements themselves look clean.
The beat rate is also closer to the original of 19,800.

These are really good.
I shaped my CGs and love them.
Got mine from Sead of course.

Yes, but I think he is speaking about the 2813 high beat. I think its the POS movement.

Actually some of these vintage cartels units come with 4813s in them, not the POS Z2s....
at least the 2 i got
had actual DG4813s in them

Hi, speaking of the $119 Cartels Sead is (was?) selling it´s the lowbeat 21j DG2813 movement. I can only say good things about them. They have excellent power reserve (+40 hrs), are very resistant and keep good time. The typical loud rotor just needs a drop of Moebius oil in the center plus the wrist "adapts" to it after some use (so You avoid the excess rotation). They mimic the original lowbeat better than a 28.800 bph movement. I have 3 of those and bought replacement ETA´s 2840 and 2846 in case I´d need them and to improve the builds but those 2813s are running so well, I just didn´t do it until now. And they get a lot of use.
I´d recommend just going ahead and getting 2 instead of one:)

Thanks Guys, for reply.

Perfect Clones offer them with 2813 as high beat 28.800bph?

http://www.pf-818.com/-p-18923.html

Maybe type error by copy & paste of the 2836 models? Anyway - I think the beatrate isn't arbitrative to the durability of the movment, it's moreover a cosmetic issue.

For me it's more important the durability & reliability.

So I think, I will give it a try.

How can I check which one is installed (when watch arrived)?

As I compared, Fonts are a bit incorrect at these Vintage Models.

As I compared a bit Gen vs Rep, I found out, that fonts on dial are pretty wrong/inaccurte.

For example the 5513: OYSTER PERPETUAL and SUBMARINER look like plain Arial-font besides the A, which has a poor line on top. Even the ROLEX has flaws, especially the R and the O! The O is simply rounded, instead of the asymmetric shape of the Gen.

What did you expect for a couple hundred bucks? All the cartel 2813s are high beat 28K but to fix this I put in a 21k 2846 along with Yuki hands and Dial. If you want a better case Yuki has 5513 for $650, Helenarou 5513 case has stubby cgs so forget it , Phong case only for the best builds $1250. I think I can live with a cartel case and Yuki Dial and hand set. I want to build a 5517 but Yuki sword hands to fit a eta wont be available till may or june. Phong inserts are really nice but twice the price of a Yuki insert.

As a fair warning to anyone that buys the 2813 cartels - be very careful taking off the seconds hand if you are modding. The past 3 I received are all practically glued on!! Therefore the pinion snaps with any force and I was forced to swap the movement.
