No, I believe it is a 116XXX dial but a very early one with the sticks and lume dots. I'm sanding off the rehaut to give it the feel of a 2005 DJ so I don't think the early dial would look ridiculous, but TBH I'm not even sure I'm going to use it yet, the rep dial is really close. Is that a period correct dial ie lume filled markers?

If I want to add a gen dial, can I use any dial with 3135 dial feet and 28mm width? I don’t care about being period correct and wonder whether those older 5 digit dials would save me some bucks and/or give me more options.
So far I know you can use the 5 digit DJ dials as well.
Yes you can use 5 digit dials, the biggest difference will be the lume which is tritium for most (only few between 1998 and 2000 have luminova) and thus the dials will have a "t swiss made t" print.
Also designs are a little different, 5 digits have whitegold sticks instead of lume sticks for example
They will fit perfectly but Datejust Dials are 27mm in Diameter.
Daydate dials are 28.5mm
Would you mind introducing smoke to me please??Smoke can obtain GEN parts at cost.
