95 gram, to light for me. But what I see is that all new crystals have a nice facet cut now.My AP rubber clad and my new AP AT 2010 have the same. Not my black themes. Fine dd told me that the crystal is just .05 mm thinner then the older ones without the facet cut.

Oh man this looks sooooooooooo much better than brushed. This is achievable is that AP is your grail watch. Just send it to takashi and I think he can sand blast it for ya. I'm only worried about the polished surfaces. Don't know how difficult it is to polish then after sandblasting

I can offer sandblasting service at relatively low cost. My guess is to achieve this finishing we are gonna use 320/400/600 grit size.

Are you referring to the side of the bezel? This can be masked during sandblasting process. Otherwise, repolishing using polinox is not a problem as the powder used is really fine. 600 grit is about 10 micron. 400 grit is about 2-3 times the size pf 600 grit.

i like titanium is light and the finishing color is also nice...

This watch could be a good project.
I like the dial. But maybe I would try it with the bezel of the Tour Auto.
For the sand blasted I don't know...

Slightly wrong date position but for the size, it's hard to tell. As far as the font goes, it's close.

Last I heard of this, the dealers pulled out and are sandblasting the proper parts as per gen.

I'm crossing fingers they do it right just like the Tour Auto!

That brushed Ti case should really go on the Grey Theme.

Also, I noticed that they used a black dial on the rep as opposed to a dark grey similar to the Auto Tour 2010.

I have heard the same thing as ianGP.
The first batch as been recalled and will be sandblasted/microbilled before it's available in 2/3 weeks.
Who plans one getting it in Mid-Jan? That would be nice to have some feedback

is a perfect watch ..if they sandblasting the case ....i think it will be very sensitive to scratches ?? is a beatiful watch and must be very light .......

Titanium is much harder than steel so I doubt it will scratch as easily

In an attempt to quell my intense desire for the factories to finish this watch and put it back on the market, I will bombard this thread once again with more gen pics
I want this just as bad as the Diver. Lets hope they both come out at the same time so I save on the shipping $$$!
