I will say, when I look at gen APs, the bezel screws look less than perfect, and definately not flush. So the better fitting screws may look better, but I dont think they look more like a gen AP (I have actually seen some sites that list super flush bezel screws as a tell of a fake AP).
Look at these screws on a gen bezel. Maybe they are better than some APSFs, but they also have some gaps (which I think is typical). I am not so certain the rep is that far off if you straighten the screws out on examples.

It’s not the alignment or gaps that bother me so much as the mismanufactured bezel screws themselves.
Ask yourself how hard it is to cut a centered slot on the head of one of those hexagonal screw heads. It’s almost as if the factory are intentionally putting on screws with slanted slots to sleight the customers of initial versions.
