New AP 26240 with 4401 Super Clone movement is coming

My black ceramic just got to my door. Wife says it looks great, excited to see it in hand.

Since this isn’t the screws and pin combo, is there a specific side to push the pin out? Just from pictures it’s hard for me to tell. Thank you

If you look carefully, you will see that one side of the pins are smooth and slightly larger and the other are indented and slightly smaller. I’ve included a couple of pics to hopefully show ( not that easy to see ). Use the smaller, indented side, as your starting point and push from that side.

Here are a few pics of my black ceramic that arrived a couple days ago. Love the watch. Super comfortable to wear. Everything working as it should.

Correct - one way out, one way in. Very tight to remove and once they are back in, they seem solid and secure.

Very nice. I am slightly smaller, but would you say it at all wears smaller than a 15500? To me the dial felt insanely large on the 15500, but the watch itself was wearable. It seems the 26240 has a smaller dial

I also have a blue face 15500, and I just compared it, and you are right, the 26240 does look smaller when looked at side by side. I did just measure them and they are exactly the same size - so entirely an optical illusion.
Having said that, I’ve been wearing the black 26240 all day today and it does feel like it wears smaller than my 15500 for absolutely no logical reason. So perhaps its the color coupled with there is more going on compared to the 15500 which has a lot of empty real estate.

I find that chronographs tend to look smaller on the wrist. the 15500 is one of the biggest looking 41mm.
It even looks bigger than the RM55.

Black dials do make the watch look smaller, then the black case and bezel makes it look slimmer / smaller too.

Once I can take some better pictures with a real camera I will, but so far the black ceramic is gorgeous. So fun to wear. Thank you for the help with the pins! Makes sense and was very easy to size. Easier than my nautilus and other royal oak for sure.

Definitely a stunning piece. Black ceramic is just so nice to wear. The all black is a really great contrast to anyone’s collection.

Push them out from the smaller hole so they come out from the larger hole

But damn, this purple AP (at least in gen dial color) looks pretty fun.

Ordered a Black ceramic already because it’s quite obviously the coolest of the bunch

Really tempted to pull the trigger on a purple one as well

Curious, if I go against my usual boring black dial pick and go purple, am I going to lose my shirt if I try to resell here.

How many others want to try this in purple?

(I know I’m an adult and should buy what I like but am asking for general curiosity)
