Puretime is a multi-million dollar business that built up a lot of hype for this rep and cashed in taking pre-orders at a substantially higher price point than other dealers that are currently offering the same watch. I fully admire that from a capitalist standpoint, but I’m not sure that padding your profit margin with inflated prices should engender the level of loyalty you’re proposing here.
I’ve bought from puretime before, but I saved $150 on this ceramic watch with a different dealer. That’s how capitalism works, as well.

lol why? I get that he did amazing work and was properly compensated. But it is ridiculous that he can claim this thread to be his for all of eternity. Competition leads to better prices. Outright repping leads to an even wilder ride.
I have a question: aside from PT, are there any other dealers that have delivered QC to customers yet? Has anyone received QC without ordering from PT?
P.S. Personally, I ordered from another dealer on December 6th (In the early stages of PT announced the pre-order), and I’m still waiting for QC. I’m not sure if the first batches were exclusively for PT customers.

You have currently 10% off on all orders on puretime + 5% depending on the payment method. Cost less than other TDs for the moment…
Afaik no ... they say the first models will be delivered from next week to the end of the month.
Looks like PT had an exclusive deal with APS. So it´s up to you, if you are willing to pay the premium or if you can wait one or two weeks and save some money ;-)

I’d like to see a video showing the reflection, especially on the sub-dial. I want to know if the reflection has that glossy, sparkly effect like the gen.
I'm in the rep game from years (2006 my first Submariner from WatchStation); i purchsed some watches from PT, in 2013/2015 (an AP Tantalium also....) and i had some issues with QC....so i went with other dealers; nonetheless I am grateful to Pt for this fantastic news (personally, I've always looked forward to it
) but i simply reported information relating to the price, because this is a forum for information and sharing, and honestly I've always preferred to spend a little more, but with the guarantee of a better pre- and post-sales.
If the sun is shining in your area then could you please take and share pics of the sunburst of the dial, too?
I ordered the ceramic from PT and got qc pics within 6 days from placing order. Probably a record for any order I’ve placed with any td. Stoked to receive and will post pics!
