Dumb question, should I pull out the crown to send the moon and the date?

No, you use the push buttons on the sides. Left does date, right does moonphase

Or you can pull crown out, keep adjusting the time until date keeps flipping over by a day each time

I got skinny wrists it's very flush on the wrist almost as thin as gen at 9.4.

I just removed that douchy watermark lol. I've finally found the setting. They make it difficult on purpose.
